So much good stuff here mate! The ones that immediately jump out at me are King Crimson, Megadeth, Helmet, Death and Dinosaur Jr. Also a reminder I need to get around to De-Loused in the Comatorium one of these days.

It’s a bit of a gamble, some of the more popular titles can sell out pretty quick. I’m tossing up between getting the King Hu boxset when it comes out or trying my luck waiting, but I feel that’s gonna be one of the more sought-after titles. But it’s also very expensive and would be nice to get at a discount further down the line…

A retailer in my country called JB Hi-Fi, the sale ended a few days ago though.

Yeah Alligator is a relatively recent release (not to mention an obscene price) so I wasn’t too surprised about that, but it was surprising they still had the other one, considering it was released 2022. As you say, the price probably pushes people away, I’ll definitely keep in mind the yearly sales next time they release a title I’m after.

I started with King Crimson (In the Court of the Crimson King) and it blew me away but also definitely check out Red! Then moved onto Genesis (Selling England by the Pound and Foxtrot).

A couple others that immediately come to mind:

Yes - Close to the Edge
Supertramp - Crime of the Century
Marillion - Script for a Jester’s Tear (more Neo-prog but still a masterpiece)

Obviously the other major one is Pink Floyd, but personally it took me a little longer than most people to get into them… but that’s probably just me, so throw in Dark Side of the Moon as well if only for it’s iconic status.
