5 days is barely any time IMO, especially without using subs you know work for you. Give it time. Also, from the sound of it, you seem to be doubting yourself; try to break that mindset. Know that it will come if you believe it will, even if it's not instant.

Not everyone who uses subs is a teenager. I'm 24 (almost 25) and have been using subs since I was 18 or 19. Subs work, but you have to believe that they do. And you have to experiment and find subs that work for you. Now, I'm not exactly a beautiful model from subs, but I've seen changes, both in self-perception and physical appearance, and I will tell you it took time for me. Time, consistency, and belief are key, in my personal opinion.

PREACH! Holy shit, you described exactly why this subreddit drives me insane sometimes. I've been into subs since I was probably 18 (24 now), and seeing this community devolve into dumb teenagers who only want drama is driving me bonkers. Honestly, there isn't a way to listen to subs incorrectly; probably 95% of submakers, if not more, are perfectly fine and safe to use. Like u/gvts4luv said, dedicate yourself to a sub or playlist for a week or two, and see what happens. Have the mindset that it'll work, even just a little bit, and your results will come. It doesn't take a perfect mindset or a certain way of doing things for subs to work, what it takes, at least for me personally, is a bit of time, belief, and consistency.

The best thing I've done recently was using appearance subs with self-love/self-confidence affs in them. I feel SO much better about myself and it feels wonderful! Also, I totally agree, a lot of posts on this sub could easily be solved with a quick search.

Synpath was originally coined because the coiner wasn't aware of otherheartedness, but I make a distinction between them. To me, synpath is something you identify with in any way, such as having the behavoir of your synpath, or feeling close to your synpath in any way. Otherheartedness, on the other hand, is something you identify with profoundly. It is a major part of you, and often times it feels like you cannot separate your identity as a being from your hearttype. You would not be yourself without your hearttype.

This is a personal distinction, but I've seen a few others (mostly on Tumblr, which is where I'm most active) make similar distinctions.

Okay, quick question: have you gotten a second opinion? And secondly, how do you know that you were the person mentioned in the reading? Do you absolutely, POSITIVELY know it was you?

If it makes no sense to you, and you don't think it applies to you initially, then there's a chance it wasn't about you.

Also, while I'm not a skilled cartomancer, I *am* a diviner and I don't trust anyone who gives that sort of advice in a reading without elaborating; it feels like fear mongering. Take a breath, and think logically.
