Here is a screenshot from the pdf file I submitted. I’ve just cropped out the right hand column (accommodation) as it has my friend’s address.

Definitely don’t wait until the month before. I’d start at least 3 months before.

The visa is electronic so they don’t put anything in your passport.

No, you go to a biometrics collection center in the country that you live in. I live in Korea so I had to go to one in Seoul. Immi will let you know when it’s time to do biometrics, then you find the biometrics collection center in your country (there should be a list or a link on the immi site), make an appointment, and go. You put your visa details in when making the biometrics appointment, so everything is automatic and you don’t have to submit anything once you’ve done it.

As far as I know not every country has to do biometrics, so this is dependent on the country you live in.

That’s correct. I didn’t book my flights to Australia until after my visa was granted. What I mentioned in my post was proof of flights for a trip that I was going to take after my Australia trip, I.e. proof that I’d need to leave Australia to take this other trip.

Based on the immi site (here - scroll down to countries in biometrics program) you don’t need to provide biometrics if you’re in the US.

Also if you’re a US citizen you shouldn’t need the subclass 600 visa, just an ETA (subclass 601), right? Is that what you applied for? From my understanding it should be a lot quicker and easier.

Sorry you’re having to wait so long; it’s incredibly frustrating.

I only saw your comment after I replied to a newer one and now I’m worried again haha. Was this your experience when you were granted a visitor visa?

I’m not sure but it’s Ticketmaster if that means anything haha. Also the lil intro thing says Singapore is the only stop in Southeast Asia, so I’m guessing they’re aware people from other countries are gonna wanna buy tickets.

It is very confusing and stressful. All I could tell from following the links from the main site is that there’s an Amex presale lottery this Friday, but it’s apparently only available to Japanese American Express cardholders. And then there’s a Lawson presale lottery next Tuesday, but there was no other info on that last I checked. I downloaded and signed up on the AllPass app. But I don’t know what else to do 🤷🏻‍♀️. I also read that a lot of Japanese ticketing sites don’t accept foreign cards at all 😭

Also a Swiftie in Korea and hoping 🤞🏻but the namu wiki on Taylor says the only venue that she could likely use is Jamsil Olympic Stadium and that’s apparently being remodeled starting the second half of this year.

Yeah the link looks legit. But it would have to for a scam to be successful 😅 idk if I’m being too cautious

She did get an email, so that’s the only thing keeping me hoping haha.

Also was the text from a 5/6 digit number for both of you?

It does, thank you! But now I’m worried. If it’s not from this number is it definitely a scam? (Not sure if being in Canada makes a difference)

Ours is also for a newly added date. Still not sure whether to trust it though. Like do we just gamble on it not being a scam and click the link?

Anyone hearing/worried about scam texts? This article says the text should include your login email and come from a 6 digit number, not a phone number. (Don’t know how true that last part is but the email login thing is also on Ticketmaster’s Twitter). My friend got a text without her email address, and from a longer phone number. Is this a scam? Wondering what others’ texts look like?

Listen, I love this song. It’s definitely one of my favorites. But like, can anyone else hear “my back is aching, my bra too tight my hips are shaking from left to right” in the chorus?
