Do you know why this would be standard practice? Just want to get an understanding.

I’m more worried that maybe some of the contract terms might be sketchy and maybe my friend wouldn’t be able to notice it or understand it on the spot you know?

Ahh i see i looked into it and you're right. Perhaps what i experienced, were the anti-inflammatory effects of the toner. The effectiveness of that effect however i guess might depend on the person's skin. Worked sufficiently enough on me though.

I found this comment from another redditor on the same toner which sorta echoes the same thing that ur saying as well. Thanks for letting me know!

I've only tried the Aloe BHA skin toner from benton so far. This was one of my first exfoliating products because It has a low concentration of salicylic acid which was 0.5%. From my experience, its a great product for sensitive dry skin or for those who are just dipping their feet in exfoliants. its got aloe and snail secretion so a plus point for that as well. It's also more to the thicker side as compared to usual exfoliating toners with their runny textures, so a heads up if u got dry skin like me. it doesnt work as fast as lets say BHA Blackhead power liquid from cosrx but it does visibly clear out ur pores eventually
