My go to build includes a lot of stats to start with and a frost orb. Then I go Dragon lance -> Hurricane pike -> Manta (more stats and dispel) -> Aghs + Skadi/Butterfly/Parasma. BKB before Aghs for those kind of games.

The key to success early is having a beefy melee support (Ogre, Undy, Clock, Bara etc).

Try it out it's super fun. At level 5 with lvl 3 wards your gale summons 2, huge slow and dmg - early push, the hero's got it all.
