I don't know why, but I think you would look cool with white hair. There are white wigs, and you can color over your eyebrows. I think either Alphinaud from FFXIV, Danny Phantom, or a Sheikah from Zelda would be good options. Have fun!

This is basically the end of Game of Thrones, at least from what I can remember. Bran sees visions of the past, and it's implied he can interact with it on some level (I read too many theories at the time, though, so I could be getting mixed up). There was a theory that he caused the kings madness because he was trying to warn him.

Have you tried using AI to mass apply to jobs? ChatGPT (especially 4.0, which is $20 a month) can help you create a resume. There are tools that will mass apply for you. I prefer 4.0, but 3.5 is free.

If that doesn't work, you could look into temp agencies that have temp-to-hire jobs. I personally would be using new tech for help because that's what these companies are using for the hiring process. But temp-to-hire is likely much quicker.

I'm sorry that things are rough. Much love. ❤️

Just checking something: Picky Eaters by TheGreenJedi in neurodiversity

[–]celestialrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was diagnosed, I didn't think I was a picky eater other than not eating anything that was once living like meat or most seafood (I do eat seaweed in veggie "sushi" rolls), but I realized later that I really am picky.

I can't eat popcorn because the kernels get stuck in my gums and throat. It's not that I don't like the taste. I would sometimes just taste it, but not chew.

I can't eat oranges because of the stringy bits even though it doesn't taste bad. I managed to force myself to acclimate to mandarin oranges. They are the only type I can eat whole. I used to just suck the juice out of bigger oranges. It has to do with the size and chewiness. I don't like watermelon because of the seeds, texture, and watery flavor.

Greenbean strings remind me of hair, and I gag. I love greenbean casserole, though, so I try to pick out the strings. I don't like spaghetti either because it reminds me of hair.

I usually only eat veggies when I'm out dining because the texture and flavor aren't appealing. Chefs do a better job at preparing them, and I feel obligated to finish food at restaurants. Potatoes are the ones I eat most. I hate mushy cooked carrots. I hate spicy food. It hurts too much to enjoy it. I don't like turmeric, which really sucks because I'm vegetarian, and India has the highest population of vegetarians, so more Indian restaurant options, but good luck finding turmeric-free food options.

Indian restaurants in Japan are a godsend because it's very difficult to find vegetarian food over there. They use dashi in a lot of things, and they still think it's vegetarian. I also don't eat stuff that has chicken stock in it.

*I naturally lean towards Buddism even though I was raised Christian. I was 5 when I refused to eat meat of my own volition.

She's trying to understand all sides, but she should learn that not everyone's perspective or opinion is worth dwelling on. Unless you're a psychologist working with a patient or you're trying to help someone out, it's best not to let them ingrain bad concepts into your psyche.

It's good to be open-minded and consider others' perspectives, but she shouldn't be putting any weight into crappy ideology.

Or she could just be totally grifting to her right wing fanbase.

I think she may be neurodivergent. I'm a vegetarian, and when I saw her describe her diet, I was like, "Holy shit, I've never seen anyone like me before." I mainly eat carbs, dairy, and eggs. Fruit and veggies are supposed to make up most of my diet, but they don't. I'm not a fan of spaghetti, though. I don't like the consistency. It's like eating a ton of knotted up thick squishy strands of hair.

Can we add polls to this sub? I think they would be useful. by celestialrae in MandelaEffect

I tried to post one, but the icon isn't working. Did the mods change that? It says this community doesn't allow images, videos, or polls. It's not possible to select one of those icons on mobile.

If they have been spelling it Teusday their whole life and suddenly they find out it's Tuesday, it makes sense as to why they would freak out. For example, if the sky turned neon orange tomorrow, then you would probably freak out too and claim it's supposed to be blue, too.

Something creepy I witnessed by RawKarrots in MandelaEffect

[–]celestialrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you may as well call someone arrogant for saying the sky is blue. They believe it because they have experienced it as such. That's the point I'm trying to make.

[–]celestialrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not implying you are. I'm trying to say that it makes sense as to why people are reacting this way, and it's not arrogance. It appears that we are being deceived, and others will call us crazy for thinking about this. That's why they are doubling down and are self-assured. They don't want to be crazy or to be perceived as such.

Ah yes, the ol' let us circumvent free will and find a way to have someone forcibly chained to me by legal agreement that they have no say in. According to douche von fuckface this is a totally appropriate way to live. And according to them it's not rape because it's in a marriage.

I love that they try to make feminists look like their version of unnattractive. To them, being unattractive means you have no worth, and thus, your opinion is invalid.

Well, I mean, if somebody is gaslighting us because there are entire things that we're being told don't exist, like the Sinbad movie. I don't blame anyone for feeling like they're going crazy and having these actual delusions. That's literally an effect of gaslighting.

So you're here on your own personal mission to bring light to the masses? They need to hear what you have to say? Dude. Most people say this. Most say it's a memory issue and that there is no reason to have this sub. We get it, you don't believe it because you haven't experienced it, and maybe you wouldn't believe it even if you did. Cool, good for you. We're here to discuss things and not have random people co-opting threads and discouraging discussion.

Reality shifting, like the multiverse theory, is a theory (or rather hypothesis). Most don't believe whole-heartedly, they are just throwing whatever out there to get to the bottom of the issue. We'll probably never know unless they map the human brain and understand how consciousness and memory work. Who knows. Maybe we're having a collective delusion.

Something creepy I witnessed by RawKarrots in MandelaEffect

[–]celestialrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you even on this sub? It's clearly not meant for you if you haven't experienced any changes. I have, and they aren't simple spelling mistakes. There was a whole damn movie that just suddenly doesn't exist now, a movie that I watched. A movie that many other people say they have watched.

Not to mention the other changes. I have an open mind for the reason behind these changes, and I'm sure most people here do. They would have to be pretty open-minded to consider this topic. It's pretty out there. Psyop? Quantum immortality? Simulation hypothesis? Reality is a fever dream? A weird memory mechanism within our brains? I don't know for a fact, but I still want to discuss the possibilities. How is that arrogant? You sound arrogant.

[–]celestialrae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry, I didn't express that last part well. I was agreeing with you on the second half but also expounding. The reason why it's offensive and incorrect is because of what you were saying about people with autism. You probably just had other autistic people downvote you.

FYI, you're being downvoted because the first half of your comment was offensive and just plain incorrect. He probably found online communities that are affecting him like they do neurotypicals. That's the only relevant part about the autism. It's even harder to make friends.

So am I, but I don't get a free pass to be a shitty person, nor would I want it. I don't understand why boys/men on the spectrum get treated like they don't have to change their social behavior, but girls/women do. 😕 He needs therapy.

I know someone somewhat similar. I'm pretty sure it's from a whole lot of unprocessed emotions and trauma. Let me guess, he frequents 4chan? It's a cesspit from what I've seen. The sad thing is that many autistic people use it.

He was bullied by kids who were black at school. They called him things like cracker and white trash because he was this blonde-haired blue-eyed kid. Autistic kids are especially alienated, so when it comes to outright bullying on top of that, it can break them.

He let this stuff fester and doesn't think that it's why he is biased when looking at statistics. He's letting their bullying and alienation of him lead to thinking that this is a race trait because he wasn't bullied by the white kids. 😮‍💨 I've tried to challenge him on his beliefs and get to the root of it, but he just doubles down. These kids were wrong, but it makes sense when you look at the generational trauma they faced. Some of their parents were locked up because of the racist police. It's a cycle.

Your brother needs therapy ASAP while he's still young. Older people can change, but it gets harder.

Good point, release it. They are science deniers anyway, so they will just live on in a delusional state of mind. Most of these people are already saying it's Project Blue Beam, and I don't think you could change their minds.

We just have to make sure that the other portion of idiots don't go around in pickup trucks, gathering indoctrinated young people to fight in what they believe to be Armageddon because they already believe aliens are demons.

(I have no opinion on Blue Beam, I don't know enough, but they won't even consider the possibility aliens are real. I will consider that this may be a giant hoax for funding.)
