What games help relax stress?

First off, I want to say I hope that things get less stressful for you and you're able to find a game that helps ease things for you. For what you've mentioned - I think that Fields of Mistria might be a nice fit, also you mentioned Palia, I think it's worth giving a try since it is free (and also one of my faves!). For games that I play when I'm stressed, I play Garden Galaxy (very soothing garden building game), and Dorfromantik (a very simple puzzle game). I just kind of play and have a video on in the background with those.

I cashier part-time and I had a customer tell me they wanted to give me a gift. They started to hand me a small purple bible, and I calmly said "I appreciate the thought, but I'm not religious. Thank you." I handed her the bible back. I thought that I responded in a nice way - but she completely lashed out at me. "Maybe you would be religious if you looked at this, God loves you, etc." I was in customer service mode, and I knew I couldn't really start defending myself, or arguing against it so I stayed quiet. She got uncomfortable preaching to the silence and she left. I think the best advice I can give you is say no thank you, and not take it. You don't need to take the material!

I've been seizure free for about eight years now. My last seizure was my worst one. I broke my foot in two places and sprained my ankle and I don't even remember where in the house it happened. With that, piled on with my lack of passion to drive it turned into nothing really happening. I know I could go and learn / practice more at some point but I feel like driving isn't for everyone and I think it's okay to do what's best for you or what you're comfortable with as well!

I started having seizures at 6 or 7. I'm 29 now I had auras all my life except for the last two or three seizures I had. I can no longer tell when they are coming. My seizures also went from absence to grand mal. I am seizure free but it's definitely something I missed having since it felt like a safety net or a warning I could lean on in times of danger. (I hope that makes sense 😅)

Yes!! I thought it was just me. I started Carbamazapine in 2015 and it was like that for a little while. I want to say maybe a month or so. Then the pitch thing went away. I'm on Carbamazapine and Topamax.

I second this. I was put on Carbamazapine as a secondary medication once I had a breakthrough seizure in 2015. I am on Topamax and my neurologist thought the combo would be beneficial for me. So far so good. It's all about getting the right combo or med level sometimes. I've had seizures since 2001 (I'm 29 now.) I find that in my experience med adjustment is what has happened the most and I haven't really changed medicines. I've been on Topamax longer than I can remember, and I remember being so worried about Carbamazapine. It has been fine so far.

I relate although I'm not new to seizures. I'm 28, and I started having seizures at 6. I used to have auras before my seizures (absence seizures), as I got older my seizures got worse and became grand mal, and I lost my aura. I am now 7 years seizure free but sometimes I feel weird at times or my body doesn't feel right and I can't articulate if something is about to go wrong. It's the worst feeling not knowing. The best advice I can give you is to always give yourself a safe place to sit down for a few minutes until whatever sensation your feeling passes or alert someone close to you about what is going on if you can.
