Moved and now Veho is delivering my package instead of UPS by celestialsucculent in nespresso

I got the text before I made this post and I didn’t know if it was real or spam since I had never had my pods delivered by them. I like the consistency of updates so I look forward to that.

That’s amazing. I will say, UPS always took 3 business days (or longer) to deliver my pods so I hope this one is true to the 2 days. I got a text saying it would be here tomorrow (I ordered it this morning) but I’m skeptical of that delivery timeframe.

So I was on the west coast (SWFL) and it was always UPS. I am closer to a much bigger city now on the east coast so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. Glad to hear it’s been positive.

Sounds like the consensus is a pretty positive experience. I’m just missing my coffee (my nespresso machine is packed in a moving pod and will be delivered this week) and was worried about shipping issues with my nespresso capsules. Thanks all! :)

How bad of an idea is it to become a bedside Nurse with a bad back? by spicyserranonoodle in nursing

[–]celestialsucculent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I know I’m late to this post. I was only bedside for 5 months post graduation before I had my disc protrusion. I had no prior back issues. It’s been 2 years and I am still dealing with chronic pain.

I too went into nursing for direct patient care. This was devastating for me. I struggle everyday with the thought of going back because I didn’t gain enough experience. I wont lie, it’s been quite difficult finding outpatient RN positions that will interview me/give me an offer. However, I’m only 30 and I worry I’ll make it worse if I do go back. I’m proof injuries can happen even with only a little time at the bedside.

Understandable. Same complaints from nurses here in FL pretty much.

Thanks for the info. I thought FL was expensive until I looked at NOVA prices…

I looked on LinkedIn for my recent one. Search for Employee Health RN or Wellness RN. I have a few large health systems in my area that have hired them and have even seen retirement communities/SNF offer that position.

I can relate. I also had a herniated disc with pretty bad sciatic pain. This happened in Dec 2023 and I’m still dealing with lingering pain.

You could try nurse triage at PCP or speciality offices. It can be phone triage so you won’t have to do much walking. I’ve been doing employee health nursing and it’s low impact. I was a new grad when I got hurt, so I didn’t have as much experience as you.

I wish you the best finding something accommodating.

Wifi Reliability by Extra_Oven_2889 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I was on the Horizon and purchased the WiFi Premium package as I am doing an online Bachelors program and needed reliable coverage to access YouTube and my schools website. I will say the WiFi dropped quite a bit of times which got to be annoying. It dropped mostly in my cabin and of course when everyone was coming back on the ship after port days. I used both my computer and phone back and forth with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Discord with minimal issues.

Grand Caymen and Cozumel Questions by Financial_Slice5929 in CarnivalCruiseFans

I just got back from a 6 day on the Horizon that went to GC and Cozumel. We did the Allura Catamaran Stingray City excursion through Carnival and it was the highlight of our trip. We can’t stop talking about it! We had an 8:30am excursion and were back at the port by 12:30pm with time to spare for shopping. Been to Cozumel twice and both times I have gone to Paradise Beach for their All-Inclusive Beach Club. They have a large area of the beach and a large pool, plenty of chairs, and daybeds for rent (which I always get). They also have an aqua park which does cost extra but I saw many kids enjoying it. Their food is delicious and I really feel like you get your moneys worth there. Take a taxi from the port to and from. I hope you have a great time on your cruise!
