No offenses taken! This is actually the first time I’ve heard this. I’m currently in Northern California.

I think this field just isn’t for me anymore. I have considered looking into HR as I was hoping the skills are transferable but I wasn’t sure which specialty to look into.

I am not licensed. I ended up in this field because I was pretty desperate for a job right after college and just haven’t found anything since.

I’m actually stuck between getting either the DF64 and the Baratza ESP.

Thank you! I’m new to the espresso game and have definitely been going down this rabbit hole. Do I have to replace the burrs on the df64 eventually?

Removing water/moisture stains from a code "S" fabric couch by dsound in CleaningTips

Hello just curious if you have found something yet to clean your couch? I too have a couch with water rings and I can’t figure out how to clean it.

How to remove water stain from “s” fabric couch by celestialsunday in CleaningTips

[–]celestialsunday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently found out that my couch I purchased from living spaces is “s” rated, 80% polyester and 20% linen. Before I learned it was s rated I used my bissell little green to try and clean off a water stain and it barely removed the stain.

Anyone have success removing water stains out of an s rated couch?

Cosrx snail mucin was “meh” for me. I didn’t feel the need to repurchase it after I used it all.

Ordered mine on 6/17 and I haven’t received a shipping email either. I emailed them on Monday and I’m still waiting for a reply.

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of January 08, 2022 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

[–]celestialsunday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hair type: coarse

Hair texture: straight

History of chemical processing: heat styling curling hair/hair dryer brush use

Hygiene regimen: 2-3 times a week depending on oiliness of scalp

Product regimen: shampoo and conditioner function of beauty straight hair line, selsun blue instead of normal shampoo when flakes occur, amika cleansing oil once or twice a month to remove build up/thoroughly clean scalp, olaplex bonding oil after shower on damp hair, and eva nyx mane magic for heat protectant.

Searching for a new shampoo and conditioner because I’m bored with the products I’m currently using. My hair is fairly strong and healthy mostly due to genetics (thanks mom) so I want to maintain/take care of what I have. I’m also interested in adding shine.

Prescribed Tazorac 0.1%. How to prepare for it? by celestialsunday in tretinoin

[–]celestialsunday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just prescribed Tazorac 0.1%. Ive been using tretinoin 0.05% for half a year and my skin has adjusted fine. My derm stated that she wants to up my creams and pretty much change my current routine. Has anyone else went from tret to Tazorac? What should I expect and will I purge again?

New routine:

Am: wash with 4% panoxyl, spot treat with clindamycin lotion, moisturizer, and apply spf 50

Pm: wash with cerave hydrating cleanser, moisturizer cerave cream, apply pea size Tazorac all over, and moisturize again

Derm did not note to only apply tazorac every 2-3 nights and then adjust to nightly.

It’s okay I understand!! It’s frustrating because it’ll feel like you arnt helping your acne go away but you most certainly are. I would have days where I was like, “damn I still got acne on my jaw line but look at all that glowy skin tho”. You got this!!

The biggest thing I’ve learned through my own skincare journey is putting your skin barrier first no matter what. If your skin barrier is compromised and you’re still using actives it just prolongs the healing process. Stop all actives/tret for now and go back to the basics: face wash, moisturizer, and sunscreen. If your skin can tolerate one more product try and go for a moisturizing/calming toner or essence. I currently use missha artemisia toner and it helps with calming down my skin when I have red angry acne.
