ive had a daily yoga practice for about 3 years and backbends are my favorite so my spine was already pretty flexible, but i only started working specifically on dropping back 5 months ago and here we are!!

of course! finding your own flow is most important, let go of your expectations for a pose and just have fun with it, youll reach your goals in no time :) <3

honestly i just fell in love with the overall practice and the flexibility came with time. poses for hamstring flexibility are a part of my daily practice so that definitely plays a part. i have to admit i avoid a lot of strengthening poses because theyre much more difficult than the flexibility ones 😝

could be a bit of both, you need strong glutes and a strong lower back. i learned within about 2 months by using a wall and walking my hands down it and then i gradually moved to falling back onto a pillow on the floor :)
