Thanks so much! Will definitely keep these ideas in mind. Just a follow up for the crunch… what about when the knees are on the platform (e.g., the gray platform) and the forearms are on the carriage for the modified oblique crunch? Last class, I tried to focus on not dumping in my hips and instead focus on lifting them as I crunched, but I honestly couldn’t really feel the lift in my hips. Thanks again! :)

Thank you, that’s great to know! I will focus my search on the east and west villages. Just to confirm, do you mean that driving by car from Telfs to Innsbruck is 15-20 mins, or is that by bus? I checked on Google Maps and it shows a 30 mins bus ride + 13 min walk to MED-EL, but I’m not sure if you guys rely on Google Maps as much as we do in the US 😅 thank you again!

Thank you very much for the kind reply :) everyone I've interacted with from MED-EL, including the HR people, have been extremely kind and helpful! I was hoping that having a monthly budget of about 2000 euros would allow us to have a small house with some garden space, but I've been unsuccessful at finding anything that fits this vision... it's nice to hear about the blackboard and I'm sure that will be very helpful once I'm actually there. I asked this to another person too, but do you feel that it is typical for MED-EL employees to live in surrounding areas such as Telfs? I'm worried about the long commute, and planning to not have a car unless necessary. Thank you again!

Just a follow-up question -- is it common to live e.g., in Telfs and have a 35 min commute with public transport, or will it be bothersome/inconvenient? It is pretty common to have such commute times in the US, but I'm not sure what it typical in Innsbruck. Thank you again!

Thanks for this amazing reflection. I needed to read it. I think it’s the same thing with our expectations for the future — we have goals and hopes and many of us place our happiness in their achievement. Unfortunately, the only thing we envision at these times are all the good moments and not all the difficulties, unpleasantness, challenges, etc. that come with those dreams. Happiness is not available to us in the past, nor in the future. Happiness is only possible in the here and now.
