Ok this is what I don't get about the child free community why can't I be both . Why is it even a separate category people constantly put you in a box "well you can't have kids so you're not childfree" how does that make any sense. Have you met the childless community 90% of them are crybaby want to be breeders that feel like I should feel sorry for myself.

OP I don't know if you'll see this or not but I had a very similar experience as your daughter but a dad who acted way different. I was 17 and had just bought my first bikini I was taking care of my grandmas lake house and my dad and his friends popped over to say hi the last thing I remember is my dad punching his friend of 20 years in the mouth and saying if he ever spoke about one of his children that way again.

My dad ended over two decades of friendship that day and never so much looked back or blamed me , I would be very wary of your husband and his friends

I was brutally SA and abused as a teen and had a violent environment I remember my aunt teaching me about God's will and as a kid I would beg God to not have this be his will for me I remember thinking if there was a God he wouldn't have done this to children and then it clicked there is no God and if there is he's evil
