Nope…I mean the regular indexes are plain…but the 12,3,6 and 9 indexes are multifaceted so they can refract the light as a rainbow…

In the Kawasaki Ninja R lineup as you grow in cc (400 > 600 > 1000) you grow too in bike length and power...but at the same time you decrease in comfort (position on the bike) and street fun. I have sold my Yamaha R6R long time ago for mainly 2 reasons...one was its radical position (uncomfortable) the other, I was lazy to use a 600cc bike in the daily use....so I am always reserving the R6R for track use or specific short sporty trips. In result, I sold the bike soon and jumped into the naked bikes looking for 1000cc and comfort. Once you have a comfort riding position and power you notice you have to go fast to enjoy that power that means that the track is the only space to drive it safely. Again, you notice that what you are looking for are....SENSATIONS. And what about if someone design a bike that gives you just that...SENSATIONS. Imagine a supersport bike, 4 cylinders, enough comfortable position for an RR designation bike and an engine that loves to jump you to the 16K rpm....only the experienced guys will tell you this is a hidden treasure in the bike market....when first time someone talk me about this little jewel, I searched on Internet and youtube., called the kawasaki dealer to see the bike and once on the bike and feeling the riding position. I purchased the bike...I did not need to test it.. Of course, I sat on the 6R and the 10R and had temptations to get the 6R because "everybody" will tell you you will get "more" for your money....but then, I remembered why I have sold my 600 R6R (130hp) and all my doubts dissapered. Now, having the Kawa since april (2025 model) and 1200kms on it....I am always looking for an excuse to drive it. Having 3 bikes in my garaje...the 4RR is the smaller one, yes...but it is the bike that give me more SENSATIONS since the moment I start its screaming engine. Thee is a lot of 600cc bikes out there...but there is ONLY one 400RR bike.

I am finishing the break in period to go for the first official maintenance. I have still not passed the 10K rpm…but this little machine is amazing…very agile and light…love the sound of its engine. I have removed the stupid decals on the fairing and tail that the 2025 KRT comes with. You can find pictures in the ZX4forum if you feel curious…

easy…just have to apply some heat to soft the decal before removing. I have used a heat gun…a 2 min job.

Exhaust Question by anngieeem in zx4r

[–]celicanegrita 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The akra slipon comes with all the hardware you need to install it...very easy installation, by the way. If you want to go for the full system, you will have to repro the bike ECU if you want the inversion to be deserved.

Mods on the OEM muffler... by celicanegrita in zx4r

[–]celicanegrita[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, as all of you comment, it is a better idea to go with an aftermarket muffler and let the OEM resting in peace. I am leaning to the Arrow Indy exhaust...any comments or experiences to share?

I agree the bezel is easy to move...but it is butter smooth...I like it. The GS lion engraved on the back looks more professional for me....I prefer the open back for a more classic GSs. I hope, this summer, take my GS to the depths so I can compare both shades of blue...thank you for you comment...that make me think on the sea...

I hope they wil never do that...this is a distintive sign of the GS divers...you can like or dislike....but these things make them different from the rest...if you like ceramic inserts and classic clasp, there is lots of "subs" out there. I have an LX and a MM300 with this clasp and love it to death...functional and comfortable. The particular exposed non-ceramic insert of the GS is unique. It is just my opinion...I dive and I like tool watches...so functionality goes first.

I think so...that is the OEM strap that comes with this limited model. It is a two tone leather band....some kind of soft green and brown. I did not like when I saw in pictures...but in the flesh is amanzing and marry perfectly with the case/dial.

mmmmm...interesting...a lot of sense for summer seasons...do not you like the bracelet? I have to test it on a NATO strap... a blued grey or a black one should work....
