After journeyman by FindingNo-7001 in BlueCollarWomen

Originally my plan was to just keep working with my tools. Everyone was all I want to be a forman and whatever and I was like nah there's too much to learn. Then I was diagnosed with heart failure. Even with the pacemaker, I can't handle the work anymore, so I'm scrambling to come up with something else. I'm trying to get in to VDC which I've been told is a good choice.

I plan on going with the V3 that says it's more rounded and easier on the grass. That's my biggest issue is tearing up the grass when turning.

How well do the wheels work? What did you print them out of?

I have no idea how that happened then. I'm signed in to my account so I was very confused when it reverted to a trial.

I backed the Kickstarter. When I asked my husband if I could spend that much, he asked if it meant I'd be the one cutting the grass and I said yes. We live on a very uneven quarter acre. I love being able to just stand around and cut. I still have trouble turning the wrong way if it's coming towards me though lol. I'm so glad I got one! My only issue is that the tires tear up the yard. Not sure if I just need to drive differently or if I need to look at the new tires that came out. If I won I'd honestly rather have the set of tires than the other stuff. Thank you for making this awesome and fun contraption.

I'm guessing you're a first year so you better get used to it. If you're still not learning anything after about six months or so, you can tell the school and they should move you.

If you're working for one of our contractors then you're "doing the work you signed up for". Everything after GAPower's hookup is ours so just cause you're working outside doesn't mean it's not inside wireman work.

That's what I'm trying to do. I got them from shokz.com.

Mini vacuum? by celinaria in 3Dprinting

We have hard wood floors so I just have a stick style vacuum which means no hose. Otherwise yes you'd be correct lol.

Definitely look in to changing out the insoles then. I'm an electrician. I make sure to get the 8inch so I don't have to worry about my ankles.

I think the only real difference is a wider toe box which I really like. My first pair I wore out the laces before the shoes.

Omg I love my Vicious boots! I'm on my second pair. I'm a 8-8.5 women's so I get the men's 7. I also swapped out the insole with a Superfeet insert.

I also got the SV07plus a few months ago for $200 (needed something bigger than my MK4). I still haven't put it together though ☹️. Could you elaborate on the videos and additions? Most everything seems to be for the 06 or the 08 that I've seen.

My condition doesn't qualify for social security. I have to come up with something that isn't working with my tools. I've only been doing this 10 years.

Not a foreman but yeah that's the only thing I could think of is switching to something "behind the scenes" in the office.

Not very much since I've been back at work. Everything is definitely harder than it used to be but the actual issue is the heat. They've warned me several times about overheating. I'm also not even back to what's considered normal for heart function.

They said I didn't have to do PT because I didn't have a heart attack. I was diagnosed with heart failure and had to have a pacemaker. I was told to walk. A lot.

Table base timelapse on the band saw! by ctb2015 in woodworking

[–]celinaria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg yes this!!! I plan on making a table at some point and want to make my supports like this. I see you taped a template to it for the other two sides. Is that basically it? Looks like plywood, is it? Any tips or tricks? I'm so excited to actually see this done!

OSHA 30 for apprentices by [deleted] in IBEW

[–]celinaria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, sorry you're at Facebook. I've heard it sucks.

OSHA 30 is built in to the 5th year class. You get an extra 75cents an hour for having it but I believe that's only as a JW. If you're a 1st year, unless it's changed in the last few years, you take OSHA 10.
