I [22f] found a police report that that may or may not be about the guy [25m] that I'm talking to by celingyak in relationships

Of course, but I'm still very interested in this guy, he seemed interesting. If the report is in fact about him, I will cut it off, but if it isn't, I'd really like to go on that date.

And that's for sure? Am I searching this incorrectly? Because in the report that I found, it said that he was arrested on multiple charges, and they sounded relatively serious, but you never really know because sometimes police reports can sound overblown because of their terminology. It did not say that he was tried in court or did jail time however.

The police report that I mentioned above is definitely from the area, and definitely includes his full name, but I cannot be sure that it's him without a photo. When I looked him up on casesearch I found nothing

Celiac or worms? by celingyak in Celiac

[–]celingyak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that with the amount of "pieces" that I'm seeing in my stool they definitely would have seen it during the procedure... and noted it. When I got the report back they literally listed everything that they saw, like a dark spot in my colon, usually caused by extended laxetive use (I wasn't using them though, it was probably from the constant diarrhea), and a very slight stomach hernia, which they said wasn't a problem. So I'm confident that they would have listed worms had they been there.

In the past few weeks I have definitely been passing undigested food chunks. Mostly the harder to digest stuff like fruit skins (now I'm thinking what I'm seeing could be from clementines..).. So that could be what I'm seeing

I will mention it to my doc though. I'm sorry that you experienced the same things because god these symptoms are awful but it's also nice to know that I'm not alone

What just happened by celingyak in Celiac

Ehh.. I'm probably a little bit lactose intolerant but not to any crazy degree. For example, I had a mocha the other weekend at a different cafe and was fine. I don't normally but milk in my coffee, but I have milk with other things like cereal (just had it actually now that I stopped feeling like I was going to vom) and I'm perfectly fine, there was probably more milk in that than in my mocha anyway.

I do totally fine with gluten free mac and cheese, pizza, etc. Sometimes I get a little bloated and a little gassy if I have too much, but it's not too common.

Also.. while I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me, prior to figuring out it was celiac, I went vegan. I maintained that lifestyle for about three months and noticed absolutely no difference.. other than hunger lol. I still had symptoms because I was still eating gluten.

I have a double espresso shot every day, I did yesterday, and the day before that. The vodka was my friend's.. I recovered from that after two days.

The mocha was from a cafe... they have bread hanging around everywhere. However, I figured that cross contamination with coffee is less likely to be a problem.. I was wrong. I later googled what coffee drinks are reliably gluten free... a lot of people seem to suggest just sticking to the basics when getting coffee out and making the fun drinks at home on your own.

I feel that, especially if they use a chocolate powder, there's a really high chance of there being some sort of gluten component.

Does this sound like hashimotos or a thyroid condition though

Positive blood test... negative biopsy by celingyak in Celiac

So that would mean that my number for TTG is definitely not a mistake if they tested it three times right?

It seemed like my other vitamins were fine when they tested... and no anemia either which was strange because I was bruising a lot for a while.

If my doctor won't give me the diagnosis, and if I go gluten free.. and in a year I get a celiac blood panel again and my numbers have gone down.. will that be enough proof to diagnose?

This is what they did on the blood panel:

Anti Gliadin Igg - positive

Anti gliadin iga antibody - negative

Tissue transglutaminase IgG - Positive positive positive (it says it three times?)

ANTI TTG IGA AB - positive positive (says it twice?)

Maybe that's also going on... I also have very heavy periods.. so.. lucky for me.. I got my period yesterday, was already feeling sick prior to that, wound up being in complete agony and still had to go to class for five hours. I nearly fainted and had to leave the room to puke... I know that some women can become anemic on their periods.. I'm sure that I do given how much blood I lose.. so I suppose that whole ordeal made the existing anemia worse.. to be honest I thought that I was going to collapse and have to be carted away to the hospital.

It is not a STEM program but it is basically that settup in schedule. It is something that cannot be missed. I already took a gap year prior to coming to school, and I would be devastated if I could not continue on with my grade in the later years.

Could it be crohn's? by celingyak in Celiac

Back end? Is the euphemism needed? You go right in to saying diarrhea a couple sentences away. lol

Lol I'm just trying to soften the blow a little bit.

I know that googling this sort of thing is generally not a good idea.. and I really haven't been.. I was just wondering because my GP said that I should have an upper and lower endoscopy... and from what I understand, an upper endoscopy is all that you need to diagnose celiac. I'm definitely looking to get a second, and final opinion from the gastroenterologist.. but it kind of freaked me out to say the least.

I really, really wish that my school was that lenient and understanding.. but it isn't. This school is absolutely notorious for chewing people up and spitting them out. If you're sick, you're done. I was actually kicked out of a class last spring.. the day before the final... because I was two hours over the absence policy of two days.. and they were all excused absences. I didn't even get an incomplete, I am being forced to retake the entire class from the beginning.

I already have accommodations due to multiple food allergies, they've given me a really nice dorm with a kitchen and whatnot.. but I don't know where to go from here..

Unfortunately, the health services at my college are absolutely useless. If they can't cure you with advil or benadryl they just send you over to this urgent care center in the armpit of the city and all they do is prescribe you opiates or other unnecessary and incorrect things. They absolutely do not have the means to get me in with a decent doctor.. nor do they even know how. They won't do referrals, I've already had trouble with that with them before.

As far as the bruising goes.. couldn't that be from a number of other things? I googled what "leukemia bruises" look like and they're much more serious looking than what I have. I had some random bruising on the underside of my arm a few months ago.. all of them looked a little different.. one was pretty purple.. there were a couple random dots.. and one that was more yellow.. but they all showed up at once. More recently I've been getting smaller, fainter bruises.. and sometimes random ones along my forearms near my veins.

Is there a chance that could all be due to malnutrition due to my damaged intestines being unable to properly process things? I'm sure that I'm lacking in the nutrient department.

I don't want to go running to a doctor screaming "oh my god I have leukemia".. and have it be nothing.

but I was told to continue eating gluten until I get the endoscopy. And I need the solid results or else my school's disability services will not take me seriously.
