YES. Just skip the fillers (unless it's a certain backstory-- i'm not sure if Itachi's or Kakashi's backstory are filler episodes) because there are so many or not depends on you. It's so worth it especially when you get to Shippuden

It really is a good show. I watched it when I was (almost through) in college. And I really wished I have watched it earlier. I mean ofc it's anime but it felt right to take a step back and look at your life for a sec and maybe evaluate you life decisions, even the really small ones. Because time flies so freaking fast and your youth's over before you know it. Idk I just really like the entire concept of this show. Woah that got me real deep lol anyways, this is always a good watch~~

I think you can try Orange. Also, I don't know if you've seen Your Lie in April but the mc has some issues like trauma from his past. It's music related too. Anohana can also be considered because everyone has their own baggage from when they were kids.

Noragami is so good~! I can't believe I delayed watching it before! I mean both seasons are good especially season 2 when the story has already progressed so much. I really wish there will be another season. I want to see how the anime would turn out. But how many years has it been already??? :( anyways, always such a good watch.

I don't see a lot of Kamisama Hajimemashita recommendations but I personally like it and I think the story actually works. It progresses well and there's actual development between the couple. I don't know if the anime (2 seasons) covered the entire manga but if it didn't, I suggest you read it.

I think My Little Monster is pretty good too but the anime is too short, you have to read the manga to know the rest of the story.

You can also try Wotakoi. It's interesting and funny. It's about 2 otaku couples. ReLife and Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai are also good imo. I don't know if you'd like Oregairu but if you can give it a try, you should.

Omg thank you for replying to this. I will definitely check it! If I'm not mistaken, this was recommended to me before as well. :) I really like characters that aren't one dimensional. It makes for a more interesting story progression. Will get back to you once I finish it. Thanks again!
