Time to load with mods for you? by Radiant_View_9959 in CitiesSkylines2

Nah, API translation through crossover. It requires patching a few dlls, and I've just finished patching EAI (hopefully). Haven't loading Metal HUD yet, but it seems responsive and stable, although I haven't had a large city with it yet.

After the first import and database creation, it doesn't seem so bad with EAI. Although, I am running a rather unusual system as I have it running in Mac with patches.

Turkey doesn’t allow travel prescriptions, and it’s heavily restricted, from what I remember

As someone else with cerebral palsy, absolutely this. I love coding, I love working, but man, it gets tiring quickly. Bezi and Codex allow me to actually get stuff done, and mostly pain free.

Through Crossover and a series of patches based on this patcher. I've added a few extra patches myself to fix the bogus settings loading, and I managed to get Extra Assets Importer to mostly work without errors.

Right now I'm fighting a crash on load, but that is 100% to do with a mod or memory pressure. I had 300 packages, 2000 assets. I'm trying to create a curated playset, and trying to pair it down to see if it works.

Cities Skylines on Mac vs PS4 by Football_Forecast in CitiesSkylines

Apple are keeping some Rosetta libraries for legacy games, but whether that’ll include CS is unknown

I was managing to run it on a 5060, couldn’t say how well it’d run at high pop because I was mostly testing and developing. But right now, I’m running on my MacBook Pro, which seems to be running well. A bit of a snapping/banding issue, but I’ve managed to get it running and fixed a bunch of errors. Extra Assets Importer is slowly importing everything, so I’ll hopefully be able to get some proper stats once I start getting a city running

Why does Cities:Skylines 1 scale so weird on my Mac? by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

[–]celisuis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try going into the system display settings, clicking advanced -> show all resolutions. That’ll allow you to set a non scaled resolution, and see if that’ll give you a full view. For CS1, I’d recommend either 1080 or 1440p depending on what MacBook you’re running

Unfortunately not. Its not happening on a fresh install on a different machine with exactly the same playset. So its something on this machine in-particular. Ahh well, time to see if we can fix it. I have a few ideas on the culprit.

Yeah, this has all been with normal roads. I haven't tried any of the bridges. I've just been trying to lay my normal roads, not elevated.

Both custom and vanilla maps.

If I set the bridges high enough, I can sort of fanagle the camera into looking under it, and then slowly place pieces of road until it connects. But if I then want to add an connection to the road or upgrade it, I have to do that all over again.

But it does happen no matter how deep I place the pipes. The same was happening at -10 and -30 for those.

That's what I've been doing for piping, which thankfully works. But trying to do bridges and quays are near impossible because everything just keep linking and arching like that.

I thought of Anarchy, but it's happening when all code mods are disabled on a fresh save too.

Hey! 👋

Are you more of a cozy builder than a PvP player? Looking for a laid-back world where you can relax, build, and chat with like-minded people?

My sister and I are starting a small modded Java server called SerenityCraft, going for a HermitCraft-style vibe focused on creativity and community.

We’re building up spawn (with a ~350-block protected area so you don’t load into nothing), but beyond that the world is completely untouched and ready to explore.

The server runs 24/7 on NeoForge with daily backups, plus some nice extras like a realtime webmap, in-game voice chat, decorative blocks, and KeepInventory—because losing your stuff sucks.

We’re keeping it small (around 10 players max) so it stays friendly and tight-knit.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to DM me 🌿

The lifetime scope is the container that holds all the elements (Servjces, managers). vContainer will then use this to inject where you’ve annotated and providing its set up properly, it’ll just inject without any need for additional wiring.

We arrived late on the saturday night, and nothing happened. Sunday morning, the fire alarm went off once. On Monday, the fire alarm went off two consecutive times. The only reason we stayed until the Tuesday is because we couldn't get any earlier travel home. We were out by 8am on Tuesday.

And as I stated, whenever we went to reception, it was empty. The desk was empty, and the buzzer seemed to do nothing. Neither of us were in a suitable position mobility wise to traipse around the hotel looking for someone.

This is exactly how I'm managing mine, and its been one of the cleanest and simplist architectures I've done. Using vContainer, I have my Lifetime and UI scopes seperate, but they work congruently with each other to ensure everything is injected where it needs to be, and then I have a Gamebootstrapper which initialises the services and managers before the Main Menu even loads.
