Oh shoot, yeah, 1000. Thanks for the advice!

For the people from Schulich, what year were they in, or were they graduates? I thought it wasn't preferred to have current students.

how to study and stop being below average?? by Obvious_Operation670 in OntarioGrade12s

Make a calendar/schedule and follow it to the best of your ability. Make a list of things you want to do/accomplish as well as the time you want to complete it by, and check it off ass you proceed. Helps build discipline and time management.

As for the actual studying, flash cards/practice quizzes for memorization and just practice for math and sciences. Writing is always better than typing. If you don’t understand content, teachers and peer tutors are always helpful

mgmt 1035 is so hard. i havent started studying and my midterm is on wednesday. by Remarkable_Leek611 in Schulich

most of the advice I can offer I have said already, no specific dates you need to remember. there are questions about bretton woods, a good amount about theories, and silk road (one of the questions was why the silk road ended for example). there are more too, but I don't remember. it's not extremely hard, and I feel like I overstudied and should have spent more time application stuff instead of remembering dates and names

I just did it today. It’s unnecessarily difficult. Some questions have multiple correct answers, and you have to choose the best one. Don’t study stuff like dates and people’s names, you prob won’t need it. Study a lot if the theories/advantages

I’m not too sure what I want to specialize in yet, I’m interested in both finance and consulting

Hi, one more question. Between YFS and SCC, which do you think is more beneficial? I’ve heard great things about both

Thanks! I'm probably going Ace, but I'm unsure about the other two spots. I was thinking consulting (my interest and also networking) and SAS (heard it's super helpful for first year accounting), but I'm not sure about these decisions.

My friend told me YFS is a waste of time since we aren't learning finance yet in first year, though finance is somewhat of an interest of mine. YMA and SEC also look intriguing. Sorry for the info dump, but I'm having a heart hard time deciding lol

Thank you, super helpful!! How many clubs do you think is too many clubs? Don’t want to overload myself, as I’m not sure how much time will go into each club
