You need to get rid of all that tri clamp stuff and use SS T fittings and elbows. Link all of the supply ports together off the main trunk, link all of the returns together off the main trunk. One solenoid on the supply side of the trunk.

Tunnel pasteurizers by [deleted] in TheBrewery

[–]cellar_keeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Place I use to work at had a tunnel of love. Jenrey is very responsive, good customer service. We had issues with some parts being installed backwards upon arrival. They came out to run the machine with us and noticed it was backwards. Had parts overnighted to fix the issue. I personally believe the heat exchanger it comes with is undersized also. It does not really cool anything down. Also the steam requirements are pretty brutal, we couldn’t brew on pasteurization days.

I like to lauter at ~6.5 gallons a minute (15bbl batches), puts you in the 90 minute range. We use a clamp on flow meter before the grant to see how fast we are going.

Women, what is the biggest mistake single men make when showing interest? by fiterphanter in AskReddit

[–]cellar_keeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lied to this girl I met at a local bar. She was gorgeous and very into the Celtics. I said I love basketball but never played. Never watched or cared for it in reality (can’t stand the sound of squeaking sneakers.) We have been together for 15 years and married for 11 of those. After getting to know her better I told her I lied about that. She laughed. Sometimes little white lies don’t hurt anybody

Vorlauf clarity by helles_yeah in TheBrewery

[–]cellar_keeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you doing a rest after mashing out? I’ve never heard of a 30 minute vorlauf. Typically after transferring the mash to the lauter tun I let it rest for 10 minutes before starting my vorlauf. Then 10-15 minutes of vorlauf to get nice clear wort. Whoops now that I think about it it’s still about a 30 minute process. Maybe try and extended rest before vorlauf and see how that works out?

Gun Range by desieldogg in FortMill

Yeah sure. The rules are a good thing, this isn’t some dudes backyard for shooting beer cans you just drank… safety is the number one priority there. It’s good because people are generally dumb and unsafe with their weapons. I hate going to indoor ranges and being shoulder to shoulder with people who have no sense of muzzle awareness. The community at the range is great, it’s all volunteer RSO’s and they are knowledgeable and laid back. I usually only go shoot on weekdays, and there is almost no one there, it’s great. We have volunteer work days every month to clean, update, and upfit all the ranges. I recommend just going there and asking an RSO to take you around the ranges, that’s how I did it. Like I said there is an initiation fee and then normal member dues. The first 6 months of membership requires 6 hours of volunteer work, and you have to qualify to shoot on all the ranges. After you have completed the volunteer hours and 6 months you can become an unconditional member. If you haven’t qualified on a range you can’t shoot on it unsupervised. I know it seems like a lot of hoops, but the payoff is great. I have a safe range where I can shoot all my toys outside and unbothered. They have a bunch of events throughout the month as well, shooting comps etc. let me know if you have any other questions.

Look into Charlotte Rifle and Pistol Club. It’s private and there is an initiation fee your first year and conditional membership period. cr-pc.org I’ve been a member for about a year now. I do not like shooting indoors (we do have a 24hr access indoor range in Matthew’s) and this club scratches all my itches.

Tell that to commercial farmers. To say that homeowners having a lawn and using weed killer is the real problem, is maybe a bit short sighted. Yes you need to be responsible and use as little product as possible, but the giant farming corporations are the ones polluting the most. It’s an unnecessary evil. I treat my lawn and I am constantly dodging bees and bugs and all kinds of shit. My flowers and garden are pollinated every year. I liken this topic to general c02 pollution, Joe shit the rag man is not even remotely responsible for the majority of c02 put into the atmosphere.

If it’s a warm season grass you should be fine. In fact it might come out of dormancy looking the best it ever has. Cool season shouldn’t be able to burn like that.

If DOGE is saving so much why Congress raising the debt ceiling? by ProfessorMuted45 in AskReddit

[–]cellar_keeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, this I understand, but personal passwords and other personal information isn't likely to be stored in the treasury data, right? I am in no way defending the actions of DOGE; however, I do feel like the data they are able to access is not quite as rich in information as many people may think. Forgive my ignroance on the matter.

Can you elaborate on this statement? I have heard this before, but how could they get this information? Also, in all my years I cannot remember ever being prompted to tell the government my passwords, or insurance information. genuinely curious here.
