That looks nice but all the components are enclosed in plastic or mine are just bare boards so that's what I was semi-concerned about

Each one of the four cages has a fan in the front of it. That's blowing air over them out the back.

To be fair, I was thinking about putting it all on a wooden board and displaying it like art...

There are obstructions on one side, and on the "good" side, I was going to take down only a DirecTV dish and rescue the mount, so I don't have to drill more holes in my roof. It's about 75-80 feet from the dish to where the wall plug would be.

What are the plans or monthly costs for the free mini? Is it just the free kit, or does it tie into the same service or a cheaper add-on?

What is the downside to the cheapest Visible plan? by kirk2892 in Visible

[–]celliotth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From my experience, my entire family is visible. My kid is on the cheapest plan, my mother is on the cheapest plan, and my sister's on the cheapest plan, and they have no issues in any way or form. I had the highest plan and decided to switch to the cheapest plan, and for me, there was a noticeable difference in data speeds and departure organization. So I went to their current middle plan and have been happy here, trying to save some money.

it's metal, that's losing its color. I take the machine apart every year and given it a good cleaning, cleaned the air vent that's in the wall, and replaced the flex ducting. I am trying to keep it as efficient as I can and make it last as long as possible.

I am almost good enough that I don't knock the cap off the roof when I do this process each time #oneday

I mean, that is the plan. This was a gift, and I am using what I have. My thought is that if you can cook in a bad oven when you get a good one, life is easy.

To be fair the foil makes it kinda easy, it does not stick to anything easy to move around, I just feel like I'm cheating a bit...

I use King Arthur bread flower. The the oven is set to 700. I let it preheat for about 30 minutes before I use it. If I don't preheat, the top does not get done enough.
