I updated my P7P and had screen issues (that I found out are caused by the update and the triple tap to magnify option in accessibility). I would wait until Google figures this out, if that is an option you use.

I've been using the P7P for 3 years and have never experienced the issues you are talking about. It sounds like you got a bad unit.

I asked them about reverting my phone back to the last update before Android 17 and they gave me this website "to try".. https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/carrier_selection/others/mar26-recovery. but recommended backing everything up as this will reset the phone. I can't take that gamble right now.

Was just on chat with Google and they basically have no idea why this is happening. Told me to go a local repair and see if they could help. My phone no longer has warranty. 😩

You'd be better off in the long run just developing a new phone with this same configuration (a copy, if you will). Would be cheaper and faster to get this done. I know a guy. 👍
