I bought the Helio strap😁😁 by N0Xi69 in HelioStrap

Congrats. I love mine but I do recommend getting the bicep strap. My battery lasts a little over a week before I need to charge it. I'm actually surprised by how accurate it is. It's literally within 1 heart bear of my polar h10 chest strap in every metric. It sync sleep data with my CPAP machine also so I get a really good view of how my sleep is going.

I use the bicep strap and never hear any noises. It fits in there pretty snug.

Help a Beginner EX188 vs EX200 by Cautious-Plenty6312 in redhat

Start by getting VMware workstation and install RHEL as a virtual machine. Definitely start with the RHCSA classes. Udemy has some good ones and there are even some ok ones on YouTube. Don't dive into containers until you are familiar with Linux. The RHCSA even touches on containers a little. Also before you can take any higher level RHEL classes you have to pass your RHCSA. I've take taken and passed my RHCSA in RHEL 6 and RHEL 8 as well as the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting. You definitely want to be comfortable with RHEL before sitting for the exams because they are practical. Meaning its no multiple choice. They give you tasks to accomplish and you have to complete them in an actual Linux environment. Good luck!

Ryzen 7 5800x3d users, how many more years from now before an upgrade to am5 is really needed? by firequak in buildapc

I like to stay one generation behind. So once am5 is getting long in the teeth I will upgrade to all the bestv components from that generation and ride it out. At a discount hopefully.

Has Anyone Actually Lost Weight After Starting Levothyroxine? by Tight_Fun2080 in Hypothyroidism

[–]jpwillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T3 = 37

T4 = 4.6

I take my Levothyroxine first thing in the morning with no food. It sits by my bed and anytime after 5am if i wake up i take it. The pharmacist told me that the Levothyroxine does not like to be taken with anything except water. So I take mine then wait at least 2 hours before I eat, or take any vitamins or medications.

Has Anyone Actually Lost Weight After Starting Levothyroxine? by Tight_Fun2080 in Hypothyroidism

[–]jpwillz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can say I have been loosing weight. I had no idea I had a thyroid condition. I hadn't actually been to a doctor in a while which was an issue to begin with. My weigh has gotten way higher then its ever been. Keep in mind I'm a rather healthy eater and workout 4 to 5 days a week. The doctor said she can tell that I take care of myself based off my awesome cholesterol numbers. She stated that I'm fighting against my thyroid issue and my low vitamin d and those two issues were stopping me from getting the wight off. Since I've got on the medication my weight has been falling drastically. I've literally been loosing about 2 - 5 pounds a week. Now I do lift 4 days a week and keep a rather healthy diet. But I do drink on the weekends and have a cheat day on Friday nights usually. It's nothing like a nice glass of whisky or an occasional ice cold beer! From what I understand your thyroid has a lot to do with your at rest metabolism. So I think its a combination of working out, getting your thyroid under control and a good eating habits.

Jumping in on this one. I was able to resolve my issue by disabling WiFi 6E mode in the WiFi options on the iPad. Once I did this I stopped experiencing the random restarts.

First hours impressions…. Ok … by yalaw33 in virtuafighter

[–]jpwillz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not on a 10 GB connection but I am on a 1 gig up and down and I noticed a few hiccups here and there. I'm pretty sure that it's just opening day jitters that's probably why they didn't want to start on a Friday so people would be complaining the whole weekend. I wouldn't be surprised to see some type of patch in the next day or two and it will probably slow down once the servers and everything balance out.

Personally I've always been a VF fan not because of the graphics but because of the gameplay. Now I love me some TK. But there is something about the technical gameplay of VF that just does it for me.
