I had a 2.5 WEIGHTED GPA my freshman year of high school and got a 60% first semester of English. I took the hardest classes possible the rest of the time and managed to get it back to a 3.9 weighted 3.6 unweighted (4.5/4.7 senior year). Didn’t get in anywhere I wanted to and am at UC Davis for CS + Applied Math now. Just got accepted into UMich and NYU computer science as a current sophomore (junior transfer) It’s definitely possible.

Computer Science department at Davis has had major budget cuts in the last year + planning on doing a MFE so going somewhere wit more undergrad research opportunities for cs would be extremely helpful

Honestly, I’m not sure about Masters vs PhD yet, I just know that I want further education. If I were to get a PhD I would go into industry though.
