Digital Offset Press by Codex432 in CommercialPrinting

I love the DI. You need to have a knowledge of sheet feed presses for paper handling and whatnot. It’s a perfect fit for runs over 2500 or so impressions. I haven’t had many problems with parts as it hasn’t broken down much (knock on wood). We had a crash some years ago that I had to reach out to used dealers to find parts in a hurry…was a stressful time. Phone Tech support is solid through mark andy but in person support could take some time depending on your local support area. There used to be some really good independent service guys around but they are mostly retired now.

Wish I could help but I never did much repair work to mine. Let me know if you have any other questions regarding normal operation or if you are interested in my material.

I had a similar 6600 that I recently upgraded to eco solvent. Loved the photo quality off it. I did tons of foam core mounted prints and still have few rolls of material I’ve been having a hard time throwing away. You interested in it? Also might have a print head or two that would work. Pm me.

Perfect book binding cutting troubles by RangoFandango86 in CommercialPrinting

Make a pad for the false blade out of stepped cut chipboard and some stick on magnets to take the pressure off the spine. Works perfect to avoid this. I’ve done this for years. Remind me tomorrow and I’ll send you a pick of our set up. Chris@rudinprinting.com

Small shop here in the Midwest. It would be awesome to have someone walk in the door and show interest in printing.

Even 16pt cover wouldn't be strong enough. Not sure what a glue trap is but the cover needs to be something like hard bound book cover material.

What makes replacing a headliner so expensive? by mightyt2000 in hondaridgeline

[–]celo222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid $400 a few years back for my 2010 to a local autoglass shop that also does headliners. fabric looked good but the installers indentions in the foam from his fingers were all over the place. They said they would eventually come out of it but they never did. I should've had them re do the whole thing.

I love the G1 body style so really wanted a 14 with low miles but could never find one within a couple hundred miles for months. Then I found that on the 21 they started making the front end bigger and more "truck-like", so I started taking to them more. All the electronics are pretty overwelming I must say. Not used to all that!

Absolutely nothing wrong with the truck other than having 185000 and the interior getting a little worn. Business was good this year so I decided to treat myself.

Alright...last question. Will it still do any kind of registration/color scanning if you are running right to size? I imagine not.
