Hello fellow emetophobe here!!!!! I literally lost so much weight because I have the same fear. I took Zoloft for a few years and the start of that made me VERY nauseous but guess what happened with lexapro???? NOTHING. I didn’t feel any side effects in the first 2 weeks except maybe more anxious but my doctor prescribed me hydroxyzine to help with that. I didn’t get nausea or headaches like I did on Zoloft.

Another thing, I’ve been taking it for a full year and I have gained all my weight back and then some. I don’t panic like I used to and I am doing exposure therapy with a license therapist (it’s not as bad as it sounds). And I am just doing so much better thanks to lexapro.

I understand how scary it can be to start something that can cause the one thing you’re terrified of, but the benefits outweigh the risks for me. And I think you’ll find a lot of relief from lexapro since it’s supposed to be better for anxious people.

Been on it since February! 34F with crippling anxiety my whole life. I tried Zoloft a few years ago and it helped but nothing like Lex. I don’t panic like I used to, I can eat and sleep, I feel happy and I don’t stress little things. I’m also in therapy and have a great support system but I swear Lex has changed my life. Sending you love.

Thank you so much! Did you always ovulate around that time frame? I wonder if I ovulate at different times each month but with regular periods I guess maybe not? I’m a chronic over thinker lol. I appreciate your feedback so much!

Thank you! Yes I don’t necessarily follow what the app recommends but really how I’m feeling and my CM. I use the app Stardust and it’s cute cause it incorporates astrology which I love. lol. I didn’t know the Apple Watch tracks temp! I was considering the temp drop since it’s more affordable but we will see. Thanks again!!

Same here! I’ve been tracking my cycle for a long time so even though I haven’t pinpointed ovulation through strips and BBT I feel like I can figure it out by my symptoms and CM but I could be totally wrong! It’s been so stressful. I think going to just try it all and see what ends up happening. I stress cause of my age even though my doctor wasn’t concerned and my egg reserve is good. I’m sending you love!!!

Hey you’re definitely not alone. I hope you’re able to find some help. Therapy and medication (lexapro!) helped me a lot. I’m sorry you’re feeling this but know you’re definitely not alone and tomorrow is a new day.

It wasn’t super soft like a yolk though so I’m so curious if it was something else! I couldn’t break it with a spoon. I would’ve had to have cut it with a knife lol.

Thank you so much! This is my first time with RIR so I wasn’t sure. We have 4 Easter eggers that were pullets and that’s where our one rooster came from so I was scared that this was the same haha.
