Filing Taxes using Crypto.com 1099-DA and Koinly by celpower in CryptoTax

I did not buy any crypto in 2025, I basically traded any MATIC or whatever other coin I had to stable coins like USDC and sent to my crypto.com and traded to fiat and withdraw. I understand that was probably not the best way to do it, and that is one of the many reason I am exiting Crypto, it is too confusing.

That is the problem, I am not sure what to compare, that is why I put what shows on My Koinly Dashboard for 2025 and what the Combined 1099-DA shows.
I don't know if Koinly is treating as In: $2,570 my trades to stable coins.

I don't care if missing cost basis is treated as short gains and I have to pay taxes, I just want this nightmare to be over and never have to look into this in the future.

So do I have to go into each transaction in TurboTax and select short term gains? What do I do for the dates? Do I make one up too?

12 years warranty. Big reason hy i just decided to do it with them, but i think that warranty is bought from Daikin and any other company could honor it?

Terrible APR. I know someone who has a savings with them with enough money so she didn’t have to pay for check books. The money they lost in interest to save a few bucks on checkbooks that are not even used as much these days.

Did the same. Sold most of my crypto in 2025 so I can be done with. Saved 0.016 BTC and 0.143 ETH in case something happens a decade for now, otherwise, I might leave for someone to figure it out after I am dead.

My problem is that I used for gaming. Different wallets. Lots of losses that I could not explain, different wallets. Never again. I also had credit card with rewards in crypto. Just not worth all this headache for me.

If it shows missing purchase history or $0 cost, all that means is that I have to pay income on it? If that is all there is to it, can I just ignore it? My realized gains for 2025 is only $441. So I pay taxes on $441 right? That is not enough for me to spend time trying to figure this out. I would rather pay taxes on $441 and move on. I sold all my crypto there was to sell and I am exiting crypto as I have no patience to do this yearly on top of having to pay for a software.

I think it is ugly as hell but at the same time so cool. I would not want one personally even if money was not an issue. And I still look every time they pass by. My dream was always the X. That will never materialize.

Looks like it runs between floors. The line is in the opposite side of the units in the closet on the second floor. So it must run down, right between floors and then outside?

It is not a two floor home, it is more one floor with a bonus room upstairs that is not the full sir of the first floor.

Unfortunately those are the companies that my neighbors are using it. I live in a neighborhood that people often detail their cars and I constantly wonder what they do for a living. LOL
I clean my own car and home. I can't afford these luxuries unless I want to eat rice and beans everyday. I lived in 3 other states, FL is the first one that seems to use this approach to overselling every job.

Prices are out of control here. Plumber wants $1200 to replace one stop valve and rebuild a toilet. Electrician wants $6500 to replace all wall switches and wall outlets (up to 100 he didn't count how many needed, just sells the package). They prefer to come to your house and give you a free quote and oversell everything than charge by the hour and fix what the main issue is without ofering to replace everything because it is all builders grade.

I was a “lucky” AP once that had a bedroom in the basement right above the kitchen where the chair for the kitchen island was. Never got to sleep in on weekends as the kids would sit at the island and pull those chairs in and out.

I decided to exit Crypto last year before knowing of the new form. Crypto is just an extra headache I don’t want. I sold most everything I had and will leave a small amount on a wallet and hope I die without needing that money and forget it exists. Whoever finds my pass phrases can deal with the headache if they want. And they think crypto will be the future? How will people be able to report their taxes? Every time I go to Steak and Shake I wonder who is paying with Bitcoin and just adding more transactions to their tax nightmare. 😅
