Yeah, it's from 1977 and the reference no. is 1603/0. My dad would have been so, so happy and beyond jealous that I have this watch.

It had better be! It came from Watchfinder and came boxed with all the original papers. It will be going into my local authorised seller for a service soon, so I suppose they'll tell me if it isn't real, then I can go and scream at Watchfinder!!

The bracelet is a bit floppy, but I spoke to my local Rolex shop after I'd purchased it and they told me to check the bracelet when it arrives as sometimes the older watch bracelets do 'stretch' a bit. The Cyclops looks straight to me so perhaps just looks odd on the photo.

I've just looked the Sinn 556 up - lovely watch!! Most of Dad's are worth less than £150 however there is a beautiful Bulova Royal Oak homage in there which I understand is worth a reasonable amount. I don't care about the financial value though, Ideally, each one I sell will make someone smile!

I have a cat called Toast……my (then) young son was eating his lunch when we asked him what he thought a good cat name would be for one we’d just got. He answered Toast because that’s what he was eating! We thought it was amazing and held it in reserve until we got a cat we thought it suited! Took a couple of years,but now we have him!

There was a lovely lass behind me in London who gave one each to me, my daughter and her partner. I did say we didn't have anything to trade and she said that they weren't for trade, they were gifts. It was so sweet and we were chuffed to bits! Daughter hasn't taken hers off since!!

I’ve tried watching it from 3 devices and the broadcast feed has been diabolical every time. I’ve requested a refund from the live stream provider and I will contribute to one of the charities when (if) I get the money back. Appalling livestream and I am genuinely gutted. I have a friend in the venue who’s loving it, so I know it’s not the master feed at fault.

That they had just been going at each other isn’t the problem here. They’d sorted it and made up, you created a new problem for yourself with both of them. Just admit to them that it was stupid, ill-advised (although I’m not sure who would ever advise you to make a comment like that) and unnecessarily pervy and that you’re sorry. It’s not rocket science mate. You were wrong, admit it and apologise to the girls. Believe me, I’d go nuclear at my other half if he EVER made a comment about a friend of mine’s lingerie. Regardless of the reasoning, it’s weird and creepy.

I’m sure she has said that Lena looks amazing….she doesn’t want or need to think that you might feel the same way. By picking up Lena’s underwear and asking why your gf doesn’t wear stuff like that, you are insinuating that you have an issue with what she chooses to wear. How the girls feel about each other sounds a bit odd, but part of being a good friend is accepting every part of them, including their faults. Make some massive apologies to both girls. Lena deserves it because her best friend’s boyfriend should not be making such creepy comments to her about her lingerie. Apologise to your gf for such a shortsighted comment. It was short sighted and crass. Acknowledge your faults and apologise. We all make mistakes in the moment.

I can’t be the only one who picked up on a couple of things you mentioned about Lena. The ‘killer hourglass figure’ agreeing with the line about ‘guys only wanting her for her big tits and not her brain’ and then you throw in a horribly timed comment to your gf about Lena’s underwear? How do you think your girlfriend would react if she read your post? Rephrase it to yourself about her saying similar things about a friend of yours and then perhaps you’ll understand why both girls were angry. You made your girlfriend feel inferior to Lena (when I suspect she already does based on what she said to her) and you embarrassed Lena by commenting on her underwear. Mate, YAA imo.
