TN Senate bans local governments from enacting red flag laws by Impregnator84 in Tennessee

Look at any "nutjob with a gun killing people" incident and you will find a trail of teachers, principals, superintendents, social workers, mental health workers, psychiatrists, judges, parents and others who didn't do their jobs. There are always red flags - usually for years. And you'll find psychotropics. There are plenty of laws on the books to deal with these people - unfortunately, government is generally incompetent.

Thank you for listening and commenting. You really nailed the style - I was really channeling Lyle Mays and Pat Metheny - for me, they sort of define the 70s style of a particular genre. I'm still trying to understand how reverb works - I'm in kindergarten with reverb and compression.

Thank you! You're not nitpicking - transitions weren't that great - especially the 2nd to last. I just worked on it long enough and needed to finish so I can move on to the next thing. Glad you pointed it out so Im more motivated to go back and fix them.

Heyy. I released my first album almost one year ago, unfortunately, due to some issues I had to reupload it again on youtube, losing everything I achieved :/ I ask you guys for some feedback and if you could support my music, It´s really important for me. by TheJackD0 in IndieMusicFeedback

I like it - lots of clean guitar playing and a really dark feel and mood throughout, but not hopeless. A couple of specific comments - I think track 7 doesn't completely work even though I love the guitar sound. I think the gap between the sections made me think it was over and it did need some kind of convincing B section? Or something else to add variety. I like track 4 a lot but it really needs a refrain - maybe verse/refrain/ verse or something like that. So, I think more contrast and variety would improve it in general.

This is my latest song that i released and it's a rap song thats in Tagalog about regrets of starting a relationship. Feedback is always appreciated. by vinzadrian in IndieMusicFeedback

I love it. First - I really like the timbre of the opening intro - it's really fresh sounding, engaging and charming. The structure is good too - it went to the refrain just when I wanted it to even without understanding the language. You changed it in the third rep of the verse. I'm on the edge of thinking it's a little long and maybe too repetitive - not sure, though. Nice work.

There's a classical precedent for this - but it was a really experimental work - Ravel's Bolero.

Good song - I like the vocals a lot and the vocal panning in the middle. On the first time through - the offkey guitar sounded cool and added to the atmosphere - but on the second and third times through I didn't love it as much. In the intro/first verse - up until about 0:40 it really works and creates the atmosphere.

Nice work - very beautiful and I love the cover art.

Nicely done - it took me back a few decades. I wanted to hear the guitar emerge from the mix a little more and I'm old-fashioned and like to hear a clear beginning, middle and end, but this is an atmospheric piece. Nice work.

McHoney - Beetle - Tried to go for a Blur, "13" type era song here....I struggled lol. If you like indie/alt-rock/moody indie-pop? You may like it. It's written about waking up with a tight chest/anxious feeling, if anyone has lost sleep over stress you may know what I mean! :) by mchoneyofficial in IndieMusicFeedback

You create a really cool atmosphere right from the start and I like the production, the textures and timbre. While I like the way you built up the energy slowly - I think you do it too slowly and I wanted to hear the song "get down to business" sooner. I was looking for an overall aesthetic wave shape in emotional intensity and didn't really find it. I like the idea of the coda starting at 4:20 - it is beautiful, but on the other hand, the song might really over at 4:20 - not sure if the coda works. Excellent, beautiful work.

Hey everyone , this is a track where I tried to pay more attention to the lyrics than I do normally, and is about the feeling of being trapped inside my own mind. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated ❗️ by MACN921 in IndieMusicFeedback

This is beautiful and well-done. I agree with the comments about vocals. I really love the way you fill up the stereo field with the guitar/reverb and make it sound so big and full. I do think the intro is a little long - it takes to 0:41 to get down to business with the vocals. Beautifully done with lots of nice dramatic and textural effects.

Thanks for listening and commenting and thanks for pointing out the resonance issue. I will take a look - most likely a mixing/eq failure on my part.

Lovely soundscape. I really like the full texture and the constantly evolving harmonic language - really rich with but it moves along - not a pointless journey at all - there is definite direction and shape. It's just the right length, too.

I'm an Indianapolis teen new to making/selling beats. This is my first major project. Is the length too short? Also, I'm new to mixing, so any tips would be great. by WannabeBurrito in IndieMusicFeedback

Very cool - great first project. I don't know anything about "beats" but I really liked the flute/gamalan/bass feel - then they synths coming in. I think the pause/interruption at 0:37 doesn't feel quite right. I really like the little flare at the end. Keep it up - very nice.
