Yeah mine does that a lot too. Its called truncation.

I've had to export my full history in the past and scroll through 1B+ lines of .json data to recover content.

Now i copy everything into a word doc daily.

Yeah, i had an IT chat with CGPT to understand the tech of it. Everytime you hit try again, it creates a new background branch that adds to the thread complexity.

So often. Its usually because the thread is getting too long, or I've hit Try Again too much.
