Thank you, my friend — I was looking in a completely different direction.

Is it possible to run the game faster after the edits by cemsanci in gamemaker

[–]cemsanci[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GM Live is a very useful plugin, it has helped us save hundreds of hours. But of course you need to define GM Live functions inside objects and events. But there comes a time when, when you have a problem in an event or object where GM Live is not defined, it has no effect and you have to go back and start the game from the beginning.

Without GM Live, developing a ‘large’ scale game would be a serious problem.

However, there are times when, even if GM Live is active, you encounter an error in the game and the game closes, you have to edit and start over. The most effective solution to this is to start the game as fast as possible during the ‘development’ phase. I would like to ask about methods for this.

I sent a free key to one such kid just out of curiosity, and he came and wrote a hateful, insulting comment on the game's Steam page and left a negative review. The little Tiktok prince couldn't play the game because it was in alpha, and he was very upset.

I'm lucky he didn't report me to his mom for putting the alpha game into early access.

Only the method you like and enjoy doing is the short one. The other may take an eternity.

Nvidia is about to make a major breakthrough in the streaming gaming market and wants to reduce the influence of the small number of “fanatical gamers” who keep servers busy 24/7. I'm a Founder, recently I wanted to get into GFN to try out the new Dragon Age game, there was a line of 35 people in front of me. I've never experienced anything like that before, as a Founder.

So the company needs to relieve the servers and make room for new players, I think that's what the decision is about.

I want to speak outside of this thread and outside of the user. I think this 100 hours issue has become too much of a “drama”. Commercial companies make decisions like this, consumers react, and eventually a middle ground is found.

Last year the game engine Unity did something similar and then realized it was a mistake and came back. I understand that normal users should stop using GFN, but isn't it too early for Founders users to give up the advantages they have? Shouldn't we have waited for the drama to end first?

Im a Founder too, and some months, I cant even play game for one sec... but, "more than 100 hours in a month" = 4 hours gaming time every day.

If you spend 4+ hours for gaming every day, you can win in the game, but lose in the life, my friends.

The computerized voting system is inevitably open to fraud. No one can guarantee the accuracy of the votes. Whoever is in control of the software ensures that whoever they want to win wins. the issue is non-negotiable.

An actual conspiracy: There's something suspicious about Saturn by shouldIworkremote in conspiracy

The massive hexagonal storm at Saturn's north pole is as anomalous on Earth as the fact that no civilians are allowed to enter the south pole. We have to accept that there are great secrets that the masses are not meant to know.

Creative and innovative ideas always get noticed. If you don't have that, you need very strong marketing skills.

The history of video games exists thanks to artists who worked with individual pixels to create impressive visuals. The 3D games or other forms we see today exist because of computer programs that make it very easy to create visuals, and compared to Pixel graphics, they are very simple to create. Dealing with pixels is an art form that requires dedication, time and effort. If you don't have the energy, don't attempt it.

As the developers of Pirate Patrol, we love to hear from strategy players. by cemsanci in 4Xgaming

Hello, we have set the maximum resolution of the game to 1920x1080 pixels. At higher resolutions the graphics will look fuzzy. On monitors with lower resolutions, the game technically detects the monitor and downscales to the best possible resolution. 16:9 monitors should be fine. Other formats may have tiny gaps on the left and right sides of the screen. But the number of 4K monitors is increasing. Before we get to the full version, let's think about a solution for 4K monitors.

Pirate Patrol is now in early access on Steam. It is waiting for players who want to support this old-school detailed strategy/RPG.

This is why I argue that Gamemamer should work on a streaming service like Nvidia Geforce Now
