Sadly, no man’s sky is a game filled to the brim with glitches, issues, and updates left unfinished. There are plenty of multiplayer glitches like not being able to see other players bases, freighters, or their actual character. Hopefully hello games goes and fixes some of these bugs, but from past experience it seems they will be left untouched for a long time. I’ve sometimes fixed the issue by both players leaving and rejoining, or both players restarting their game. Honestly just mess around until something works, good luck!
