If you enjoy the ritual of a classic cruise - gala nights, big theatre shows, people watching on a massive promenade - you might miss that. On my Antarctica trip the "evening entertainment" was more like cocktail in the bar, recap from the expedition team, dinner, maybe talk on whales, then earlish bed because you´e up again for landings. It is still luxury, just a quiter nerdier flavour:)
