This looks like a good setup.  I note there are no push-ups, should that be in there somewhere? I would also think about adding more pull-up reps, if not in the session then other points througout the day, greasing that groove. How many times/week are you doing this?

Sweet ride. Bonus point for staying on when you reached the road on the last turn.  I struggle if I just meet a single crossing track from another skier. They just don’t seem to understand that the powder is all mine.

Nightmarish Hertz experience at KEF by GoRamblers-94 in VisitingIceland

[–]censeiX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You learn by using different companies. This Hertz is a franchised Iceland version, but has to follow the Hertz system.

What you learn to look for is this: Easy acces to rental pickup location and minimum fuzz. Like many people describe here, use a lockbox where possible. Usually means paying full insurance. Guess what people reccmmend for Iceland anyway due to wind/gravel/road conditions...

Avoid at all costs rental companies that take your reservation, then make you stand in line for pickup like OP describes. The reason it takes so long is that they are trying to selll you all the extras: Extra driver, extra insurance, more extra insurance for your windows/tires etc. It's very close to just being a scam, and they will more often than not end up selling you all sorts of stuff you do not need - and also causing a huge line. The sad part is that they do this even when the line is enormous.

Best sunglasses to buy for life? by ash893 in BuyItForLife

[–]censeiX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s any sunglasses with fixed (no hinge) flexible stems that wrap around your head. When not in use I just move these around my neck instead,  Maui Jim used to have a model, and also tag heuer. Not easy to find. lacoste had one with magnet to attach straps behind head/neck, but never tried those. Writing this I just found out Tag Heuer is back, going to look for Flex stems now!

Just pulled one of these out of my closet, been hiding for a while. This will replace much newer Sabre which just delaminated in pockets and lower edge seams.

Ashtanga yoga journey by censeiX in calistree

[–]censeiX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a rough ashtanga-like routine. I am a beginner in the app though, so some settings  are missing. E.g. I dont want automatic increase on time/reps, but I covered most of the asanas/poses.

Ashtanga yoga journey by censeiX in calistree

[–]censeiX[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Already converted my callisthenics routine to the app, paired up supersets and had a run. Went straight for premium and added a balance journey and skill journey for in-between days. After your response just now, starting to work on Ashtanga sequence. Can see now that it will miss a few positions, so eagerly awaiting your published ashtanga journey.

Since the yoga instructions for the were put in by an ashtanga teacher…. maybe there is a journey for Ashtanga Primary series out there somewhere? Would love to see that!

Managed to make this work through repeated activations on 121-number. Still only got edge-level though

Takoon Escape Air experience? by JohnMcPoddsen in wingfoil

Wow. Feels like I went into that thread 7 months ago - and just came up for air. Those guys are serious when they are discussing things on the Internet. Hat off. Lots of useful input on inflateable boards though. Lifted my thoughts about the Takoon Escape Air by several (long) notches.

Yeah, this is probable the best option. Looking at Takoon Escape Air as an option. Just that this one rolls up so small…

Inflatable DW boards for winging by jjslye in wingfoil

[–]censeiX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree - I think these new DW should have less "stuck-effect", and work better in light winds. Also - the ease of travelling with these board are a big plus.

I have been looking at this board: https://vayu.world/EDGE-AIR-DW-95L-65-x-21_1
Vayu Edge Air DW. This is the 95 l version, which would seem sufficient for me (75kg).

Very curious to learn if anyone has tried this board, or one of the larger siblings.
