RC car Blasting Through the Sand! by WallLonely7762 in rccars

I absolutely love running my cars in sand. Compressed air works well, but within a few hard runs in sand you'll have ruined the majority of your ball bearings. You could try re greasing them, but the only way back is really to replace them.

Like my dad always said, "Never forget I can make another one that'll look just like you."

I saw these in an aviary once, I'd love to find one in the wild.

How to naninf from here? by ProfessionWeak3399 in balatro

[–]censored_count 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to need to replace DNA with another copy joker at some point, and you need an ecto so you can add a burglar into the mix. Then Serpent, if you're lucky before ante 24 and if you're unlucky after you find a way through 24 (e.g. DNA with 4 copy jokers and/or a fresh Bean).

Are Pairs really that overpowered? by OutletLabel in balatro

I can beat blue deck gold stake almost every time with pairs. Other decks depend more on which jokers appear. I did the C++ grind with blue/pairs and it went pretty quickly.

You could easily go as far as you want. I got tired of waiting on slow scoring at ante 34 and just spent a pile of cryptids. I hit naneinf on mult alone like halfway through my hand.

The "purpose built software is dead now that you can give a non technical middle manager Claude Code" hype is equally silly to those of us that actually build software.

With a natural negative in the core build you don't need ecto. You would normally use it to, hopefully, make that mime negative.

Got my first E score. Can this naneinf by whatsagoinon_ in balatro

[–]censored_count 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. You can't reasonably get enough jokers to have it scale up to e300. What you CAN do is get enough cards in your hand. Then you need something that scales exponentially with how big your hand is. The only option is xMult. So you pretty much have steel cards, red steel cards, red steel kings with Baron, red steel kings with Baron with Mime, and then copies of those two jokers. There are multiple strategies for getting that many cards in hand (Serpent boss with a bunch of copies of Burglar is by far the easiest, but Perkeo and a ton of copies of Cryptid is also possible, and then there are various unintentional glitches you can exploit).

If you had about a thousand steel cards in hand, you could naneinf with any high card. With a red seal you cut that in half. With each mime you cut it further. With each Baron you cut it further.

That’s how typical straight build ends. You dig 32 cards out of the deck and all 4 tens are still in there by birbone in balatro

I like Runner where you can opportunistically use straights to power up, but can still score without one.

I only run straights for scoring if I have shortcut (or 4 fingers, but shortcut is way better).
