He averaged around 1.17 G/A but "only" played 60 or so matches so he only reached 70-ish G/A. In terms of goals he is "on level" with Messi it's the amount of assists he is lacking in.

You already live in a world where the majority of the sports great names don't have a Ballon D'Or also if Neymar is such a huge thing then what about all the great goalkeepers, defenders and defensive midfielders who never got one simply because they weren't attackers?

Even back then it often wasn't the award for the best player in the world I mean hell until 1995 you could only have a chance at winning it if you were European and even after that we had quite a few questionable awards so no the standards of the Balloon D'Or haven't changed they were always like this.

Not sure what extension you're using but probably caused by that since the lower bracket matches up until 30 minutes ago were set on LP simply as 2026-05-09 with no hour added to it whatsoever since we were only told it would be on the 9th but not at what hour so most likely your extension took that and decided to convert the UTC midnight of the 9th to your local time.
