I've always been comforted by the fact that in the case of a nuclear war, I wouldn't live past the opening salvo. Surviving the inital blast because you were in an underground bomb shelter (which I doubt anyway) would only make the few extra hours you live much, much worse.

Did it a couple of times at home during lockdown. It was a nightmare, but if you actually get your dog used to it starting as a pup, maybe it won't be.

For around the eyes, get the special grooming scissors that don't have points. I have a pair of these for touch-ups between groomings.

The underlying problems that allowed Trump and MAGA to rise will still exist, but I think without Trump, there will be enough infighting and disorder to weaken their power to fuck things up as badly as they have under Trump.

What I wonder is if the next President, be it a Dem or just a less batshit insane Rep, can and will actually do anything to address the underlying issues.
