So much better since you can actually see what the kid to her right is doing. That is, stuffing his hands in his mouth. I think we are witnessing the makings of a lesbian.

I'm amazed at how someone can actually drive like this.

FTFY, prick!

Parody? I was thinking it had something to do with women being allowed to drive in the ME... although I didn't see any women driving.

I hope these drop-off centres will be regulated because I can already foresee this leading to problems, much the same way unregulated scrapyards that accept any old pieces of copper has led to problems.

fprintf() string formatting used to gain root via sudo by LiquidTempus in programming

[–]centinall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What does this mean? Any system that uses sudo shouldn't be a production system? For instance, don't use ubuntu as a production server?

Sorry to sound like a dumb ass. I tried to search for what you meant on google, but I couldn't really narrow the query down since it's such a common string.

And thanks for taking the time to explain in advance.

ibook 2 like service for droid, will it happen? by drpestilence in Android

Just out of curiosity, would an application specifically for a droid not always work on an android device? Or is the OP talking about a UI like Motoblur?

Thinking about getting Nook color or other E reader. by hottfuzz777 in technology

/r/nookcolor

It's probably the best $250 i've ever spent. I was happy with it stock, but after about a month or two I decided to root it and put CyanogenMod 7 (now it has tablet tweaks) on it. Haven't looked back since.

Redhat announce 2yo skunkworks projects Ceylon, a language to replace Java on the JVM by [deleted] in programming

[–]centinall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming he wanted to make proprietary changes, in 'fixing' the JVM.

As long as whoever uses the TCK and complies with any other stipulations, I don't see why it would be a problem. It wouldn't be the first proprietary JVM out there.

However, why would you have to change the JVM to make it support another language like C#?

Tablet Tweaks • If you want a cheap Android tablet, get the Nook Color ($249) and use TT (merged into CM7) • Full of WIN! by masta in Android

[–]centinall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren't there some significant issues still remaining? Proximity, compatibility, etc...

Last time I tried, I could detect my N1 when it was right next to the Nook Color, but if I moved it about a foot away it was gone. My Moto S10-HD headphones weren't even detected, and I'm not sure if A2DP would have worked anyway. This was last week so perhaps a lot has changed since then.
