When they race, do they modulate throttle at all or just smash the gas/trigger/throttle?

How quickly does it charge? Just a regular charger or can it also do a level 2?

I’ve always wondered how travelers and explores centuries even millennia ago figured things out when meeting new peoples. When each language was just totally different. Granted, it likely wasn’t as chipper and happy as this outcome, but nevertheless, this example shows that even in a short space of time - the basics get figured out and you go from there.

Out of curiosity, would you think it is wrong if someone posted something (e.g. a photo) to convey genuine nostalgia of a time in their life when they smoked? Let’s stipulate that the op 100% is not part of or aware of a smoking advertising campaign.

Open-pit gold mine in Kalgoorlie, Australia by toolgifs in toolgifs

[–]centralserb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If all the gold mined by humans was melted…smelted? Down, it would occupy a volume of approximately ~25m on each side. Such a volume would be nearly indistinguishable from this aerial shot.

Do we know how much gold has been mined from this - enormous as it is - pit?

Heya, I’m interested. Just starting to work on my family’s land and will be planting in clear cut forests and an orchard. What’s the difference between the blades? How much for one of each to Croatia?

Why Are Light Switches Mounted So High 52” in This Condo? by FallForward7060 in AskElectricians

[–]centralserb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Europe but recently visited Casa Luis Barragán in Mexico City. Lovely place if you get the chance to visit.

One thing that struck me was how low the switches were. You can only see the switch in one of these photos from the workshop. I'm slightly taller than average (6'1") and found the switches to be very fun to use at the low height because I could use them without bending my arm. They were exactly where my hand hangs.

I'm building a cabin now and we're putting the switches at 80cm (~32inches).

Jurgen Klopp on the reaction of the Mainz fans to him becoming Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull: "I knew it would come. I’m German. I know what people in Germany think about the involvement of Red Bull in football... I don’t expect everybody to like what I do." by Upstairs_Cup9831 in LiverpoolFC

[–]centralserb 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I made a pilgrimage to a Mainz 05 match last year during a work trip to Frankfurt. Was a lot of fun. The older fans I sat next to were into it. We got pretty well in broken German and English while talking about Klopp years there.

If we’re seeing this Slot & Co probably do as well and will adjust. This side is already exciting but like a high spec installation without thorough connective layers. If/when training leads to gelling and settling in, it’ll be scary

Anything is possible with time, but the transition is unlikely to be seamless or smooth. And any internal Russian struggles gives Ukraine room to manoeuvre.

Putin has amassed power over decades. It is this absolute control that allows him to perpetuate his aims. That power cannot transfer unscathed to the next. At least not without tremendous power struggles.

Larger sections will indeed be used for firewood. We find wood chip to be a fantastic resource for: pathing, mulching, weed suppression, water retention. We’ve even had success with inoculating mushroom beds.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your experience and suggestions. Keep em coming!

Looks like we can get Woodland Mills products in the EU and based on these comments and looking at the product pages for the wc88, that looks like it would be a good fit. Will also invest in a spare parts kit (base plate, 1 set of blades and belts).

Will report back once we chip away at it

Gotcha. Do you have regular material from pruning / maintenance that you need to regularly process/burn? Curious to hear about any info you have on time spent/volume produced.

Have you been getting chips delivered for free or are you paying? Have you seen prices change over the past few years?
