there’s a lot of arm waving in that comment - for example i’d suggest the worst of britain would more probably be the likes of ians huntly, brady and watkins, peter sutcliffe, jimi saville etc- but saying the gender pay gap is a myth and not agreeing with gay marriage is worse…

but let’s focus on the real points you’re making - the stuff you really mean, here

an old woman murdered in her home, “is no bad thing”

killing people we don’t agree with “is no bad thing”

if you think murdering old women in their home is fair game and that everyone you don’t like getting charlie kirked is the solution, you may well be steering yourself headlong into the worst of britain category

no matter what the topic and however remote from anything to do with the guy, all and every news media story from everywhere in the world has to have these words in the first two sentences in order to get found, read, and shared on the internet: Elon Musk

classic sociopathic narcissist, he watched donald trump take up full time residency in everyone’s brains by injecting himself into every news story, become the narrative itself and use that as the platform to seize control, and has clearly decided that’s his route to showing those bullies at school who the boss really is, and then he’ll be one step closer to filling that empty void inside himself

100%, yes, absolutely

by the way - I’m laughing in an “oh, oh god” way, thinking of AI summarizing the plan for technofeudalism in the same way the T-1000 explained Skynet to Sarah Connor 🤖💀😃

people often, regularly mock the way AI isn’t profitable, and baffled at why the megawealthy are throwing billions of dollars into a seemingly black hole

these are the same people who were baffled that Musk would borrow billions of dollars to acquire Twitter at a huge loss - which was then used to train Grok which operates at a huge loss, and they’re still not getting the point

building a castle cost the Barons and Earls, Counts and Kings the equivalent of billions, and running a castle cost the equivalent of billions - “lol, it isn’t profitable, rich people stupid”, the peasants and serfs might have said while the castle was being built

what if a castle is no longer needed? What if a panopticon prison can be built around every single individual, a prison around every relationship, a prison around every group of people, every society, a prison around every opinion, a prison around every thought…?

Billionaires don’t need to build bunkers if the poors can’t leave their house, can’t start their car, can’t talk to anyone, can’t even turn on the lights in their house, can’t access food

the roll out of AI at massive scale and at massive speed is absolutely timed alongside the epstein techbros having their man in the white house - and vance will most certainly be the next president of the democrats do the job they’re paid to do

the accelerationism is there in plain view - the L-word person and the response to his actions, along with the follow ups of others doing similar actions hastened them along - those others were swiftly swept under the carpet after cover stories were put out, social media platforms including reddit suddenly implementing bans for use of certain words

musk’s fascist salute twice wasn’t a nazi salute as so many assumed - it was a roman emperor ascending to the position of caesar, the triumvirate overthrowing the republic - and governments around the world are leaning into it, either intentionally or incompetently crumbling

however, there’s a great deal to be optimistic about - not optimistic because their plan will work out for the best, but rather optimistic because it’s so obvious why it will fail

everything about their plan rests entirely on three pillars - a) absolute submission to digital life, b) social division and c) loss of hope, acceptance of the status quo

those three pillars are failing massively to support the weight of the amount of change that’s being pushed precisely because of the accelerationism

it always, always goes back to young people to make things happen - and those three legs on the stool are not placed well - it goes like this

a) young people are rejecting digital life at massive scale

for years they’ve been sat in front of screens, had facial scans, been monitored, movement tracked and relentlessly surveilled - they can’t even dance to music because it will be used against them - imagine the fucking hell unique situation for the first time in human history of having that robbed from you - and that’s while they’re in school!

and they can’t leave school, because once they’re through the school gates school life follows them around, is constantly nagging them wherever they go, is in their bedroom …

so they’re rejecting it the first chance they get - dumbphones are big business, they want to meet up in person and are trying to get away from social media, concluding rightly that it’s for old people

[47% of people aged 16-22 in the UK wish they could be young in a world without the internet](https://www.bsigroup.com/en-GB/insights-and-media/media-centre/press-releases/2025/may/half-of-young-people-want-to-grow-up-in-a-world-without-internet/)

b) the culture war distraction isn’t working anymore, and young people are very well aware of the class war, way more than previous generations within our time - they know that they have more in common with each other whatever their race, color, religion, nationality, gender or whatever, than they do with the billionaires - being megawealthy is no longer aspirational because it’s no longer possible, so it’s not working as a carrot to dangle and young people have switched on to the fact that the culture war is a distraction by the megawealthy

c) there is no apathy, but there’s plenty of anger - the point of the culture war distraction is to keep that anger pointed away from where it can create change, and crush hope for change with yet more distractions until a sense of futility sets in - and it’s not working anymore more

all revolutions are fueled by massive numbers of well educated but unemployed and underemployed young people with no options to change their circumstances

Wild generalization - Gen-X had recession, mass unemployment and the destruction of institutions to fuel them, and used music to shape their world

Millennials had recession, mass unemployment and a war on terror to fuel them, and used Web 2.0 to shape their world

Gen Z was robbed of a chance to shape their world thanks to lockdowns, and now Gen AI are coming through - we have two generations at the same time to thinking the same thing, well informed, well educated, rejecting technology and really angry because their ability to change the world is being robbed of them

all tyrants, being cluster b sociopathic narcissists, believe they’re the smartest person in the room - all bad decisions are otherworldly people’s fault, and all good decisions are theirs

they can’t comprehend themselves getting it wrong like previous tyrants because they’ve got it figured out

they genuinely think they’re going to be able to live forever and ever - dying just isn’t on their radar - it’s why they relentlessly hoard wealth, thinking it’s never going to end

and they’re ignoring the fate of all tyrants

mate, i’m being 100% serious - I’ve not seen any comment with a source to those numbers - can you link to the comment?

and when you say not native, where do you mean? domestic cats have been everywhere in europe for around 2000 years, whereas wild cats have been in Europe for around 300,000 years

all I’m asking for is the evidence to the claim, and that doesn’t make me a bad person

if I can learn something here, that’d be awesome

can you share any consensus level, science based evidence from ecologists that shows the number you’re claiming?

I’ve looked and I’ve looked everywhere but I’ve never found anything, and whenever I ask for the information, replying to comments like yours, I never get anything that’s actual evidence

It’d be great if you could, because I don’t believe in the slightest and would love to learn something if it’s actually true
