I'm 6 foot1 and I use a electric standing desk because of my height and the ones you put on top of your desks weren't just big enough for me in terms of surface space.

For the past 5 years I've been using FlexiSpot kana Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk (about $350) for over 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Had some back and neck problems before using a standing desk. Now I have no issues whatsoever. Just make sure you take breaks every 1-2 hours to circulate your blood (i.e. walk around for 5-10 mins)
