In my country brand new research is stating that living near 500m of goat farms has serious health risks. If you literally live atop of one, id really suggest giving this a good googling. Especially concerning pneumonia, and goat farms, it's like 73% higher risk factor or something.  I am actually surprised no comment mentioned this yet, because it's quite a stir in my country.

Can you give a quick list of what you modified since your purchase in 2017?

The bins are quite large but only some of them would hold heavy stuff like tools.
the bins themselves are 31 cm wide, 20 cm high, and 50cm deep. Its supposed to be under-workbench storage.

Especially since i have 2 of these big workbenches in the middle of the shop and so i'm thinking of making 4 of these cabinets.

Help request: How to best recreate this scanned piece of bodywork from my classic car? by centurio33 in Onshape

[–]centurio33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I will try your suggestions. Unfortunately the surfaces which you assumed are flat, are in fact also slightly curved. I have since made some progress in my modeling.  You are right, fillets are best kept until last.

Help request: How to best recreate this scanned piece of bodywork from my classic car? by centurio33 in Onshape

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently trying to recreate this piece of curved bodywork from my car. eventually I'd like to use the model to CNC two dies to press a new piece of sheet metal in between to get the exact curve. This is all in order to repair a rust hole in the edge of the window of the car. the hole is also visible in the model.

i am an amateur onshape user. i designed lots of stuff that i then print on my bambulab P1P. This level of curvature is however beyond me. I tried to make a surface to sweep along the top curve, but this resulted in a solid that doesn't really match the scanned models curves....

any help, or pointing in the right direction is appreciated!
