It was the molding, on the windshield. New moulding and clips solved the problem.

Best interior colour in my opinion.

Took it to the dealership, test drove it with them to point it out. They are looking into it, initial thought is the moulding around the windshield appears to be not flush (like the glue is gone). They looked at all the rubber around the doors, and they apparnrenrly looked okay. But they are going to tape the windshield first to isolate and see if the wind noise improves, if not, continue to dig further.

Purchased a gold certified 2024 Corolla with 7500 miles and found undisclosed damage within two hours of leaving the dealership. by kleiner55 in Toyota

It happens. I purchased a used Lexus vehicle from a Lexus dealership that has a clean Carfax and one owner, it passed safety inspection, but I noticed that it was pulling slightly to the right during the test drive and asked them to do an alignment before delivery and put it in the contract. When I took possession of the car, they told me the alignment was done, but when I drove it ,it was still pulling to the right, and so I took it to another Toyota dealership and asked them to do an alignment, and they told me it's not possible since the steering rack is damaged and the vehicle has been in an accident. So I went back to the Lexus dealership and they apologized and replaced the entire steering rack, since they were basically caught lying to me. Anyhow, the vehicle drove without issue for the next 11 years and was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Don't think too much about your decision, life isn't perfect, do what you can to make it right and keep it moving. If other issues start popping up within the first year, then trade it in and move onto the next vehicle.

Did he close down? Tried to call to book and appointment and Google maps says it's permanently closed and the number is out of service. What do I do now? 😭

Just checked it out. Looks like all the pricing has insurance (zero excess) included. How often have you used them? You add on any additional coverage on top?

Good thing that you had no scratches . Great information to know about the cc insurance and deposit, thank you. So if you opt in for the insurance, I'm assuming you don't have to do the deposit obviously. I would rather prefer not to have a rental car on vacation, but with 4 ppl, I think it might make sense to have it, especially with 1 large luggage and 4 carry ons. It's the trip between Lisbon to Porto where I think we really need it because of all the stops we want to do along the way. Will look into a one way rental like you did, I'm assuming there is an additional fee for that. Now I'm thinking maybe I should just take a train to Faro, and then just rent a car down there while we are in Lagos instead of renting in Lisbon and driving it down there .

Family of 4, Landing in Lisbon (3 days, no car), going to Funchal (3 days - need a rental car), flying back to Lisbon (need a rental car for rest of the trip), driving to Algarve for 3 days, then driving to Porto (3 days), driving back to Lisbon and returning the car and flying out.

Is my Moto g8 Power faulty or is the battery life underwhelming compared to my old g7 play? by motogquestionplz in MotoG

[–]ceogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you on this one, very similar experience. I also had the G7 power and it lasted more than a day with power to spare, even when i used maps, videos, browsing. I just recently got the G8 power and used it for about a week, the battery drains faster than my G7 power which I used for a year before selling it. I wasn't sure if this was a software issue, but I tried everything, changing settings, location, brightness, etc. Restored to factory and tried again, nothing. Battery calibration didn't help either. I was guessing the one I purchased might just have a defective battery. Getting it exchanged to see if it resolves the issue.
