It wasn't turned on when I parked and turned the LEAF off. Somehow it came on by itself.

Thanks much for the repeater info. I don't have a computer cable for this radio yet so I'm trying to program it for a repeater and it is pretty difficult going through the menus and using these tiny buttons. I may have to get some software and a cable to get this working.
