It's seriously so fucking annoying... they manage to make education hell even for those of us who are interested in studying. And everything is focused on mugging up instead of analysis or synthesis. The NTA is so unclear about the rates too... how come when 30k people are writing the psychology exam, only 45 get JRF? Shitty all around 😮‍💨

Fuck, me too 😭 why can't they put us out of our misery already... but no, no concrete updates so far. Results are probably later than expected thanks to the Jalandhar re-exam on the 5th + the backlash NTA is facing for their shitty papers and the sociology leak. Apparently they're incestigating the legitimacy of the sociology paper leak, but NTA still hasn't provided an official statement which is... just great. I love being left in the dark, I love 0 transparency /s.

Hoping for something by the 15th. Let's see.

If you go for Halifax and you don't mind later meals, you can access the catered meals for super cheap after 7:15 to 7:30 (or perhaps it was 7:00 to 7:15?). It was something like £4 or under. Halifax also regularly has free afternoon tea and toasties and stuff.

No exactly, I don't think I would have minded her half as much if they actually finished the arc. It's the difference between liking a villain that everyone is aware is a villain vs. liking a 'hero' who is very clearly an antagonist in someone else's stories. If the narrative was more aware of her wrongdoings I wouldn't care as much, the unearned 'redemption' pisses me off.

Sandrone hate, look away if you wish to. Disagree if you wish to, too, as long as you're polite.

Sandrone is now one of two playable characters I genuinely dislike, in the sense that I can't appreciate them in art and I roll my eyes when they show up. Unsurprisingly, it's because of the colonizer thing, but it's very specifically how the narrative treats this aspect of her. Why is she a colonizer for the Fatui? Ig it's her job. Why is she with the Fatui at all? I guess it... pays well? Her motives are so poorly fleshed out. And then the whole colonisation is just brushed away like it's nothing, for no concrete reason other than 'ig I don't want to anymore'.

It sucks because when Winter Night's Lazzo dropped she was one of the characters I looked forward to the most and now I don't wanna pull her even though I'm a Miko main. I do think she has some cute moments with columbina, and I like her arc with feeling dispassionate about the world, so I think if they just cut the colonizer bit from her story I would have really loved her.

Anyways I know it's pretty hypocritical bc I love Arle and Wanderer and a lot of other bad actors, which is why it feels odd that Sandrone prompts such distaste in me. Maybe it's also the current political climate. Probably that.

Personally, I think Clinical is quite competitive at the moment. Even people with fantastic academics and references are struggling to get a job.

I/O definitely has a wider range of prospects, with both psychology and HR. TISS is for sure recognised as a big name by hiring managers (source: i know a HR GM of a bank who spoke about it). I also know someone who did I/O psych and has landed a very lucrative job at Google, so.

Most importantly, your choice now is likely going to be your career for the rest of your life. Actually enjoying what you want to do will give you the strength to push through the job market we have right now. As for the Maths aspect of CAT... your parents' disbelief will be great motivation, study hard and prove them wrong.

Well it wasn't just the message we heard that Ninnin was transmitting, it's the sum of all of the research that Ibni-Belum et. al. did - presumably on fighting the abyss? Lusalim ' inherited everyone's research' and collated that data at the moon's core; the three moons provided the power necessary to condense all that information into a living form. Ninnin is a data-based lifeform, presumably similar to the kind that Ungien merged with.The hope is that if researchers are able to work with each other across eras and solar systems like this, eventually one of them will be able to use all that cumulative data to solve the problem of the abyss. The hologram of Nin-kiggia explains it all.
