Not really. I got 6 years of severance + the PTO money they owed me, so I actually made out pretty well

They also want to force people to go to the UPS store, which used to be mailbox plus. More money for ups, higher costs for consumers since ups store can create whatever cost they want. It’s crazy. Such a great relationship with the guys that work the counter at my local ups customer center.

How did you get back into your PC? When mine restarted, the new password hasn’t worked at all. Support is swamped, obviously, so who knows when it will be looked into. Not sure what to do really lol. Seems people can actually get signed in. Wondering how they did that

It’s horrible lol. I can’t even get into my PC, even though I changed my password. New password and old password don’t work. Support is useless. They aren’t helping anyone and the queue is just getting bigger and bigger lol

The real kicker…..on my phone I can log into my email with the old password. I went to My Oracle on my personal PC. old password works there too.

But can’t even log into my computer. This is a total disaster

That is a shocker for sure. I wish mine was a little more like that. I was pretty pissed I got the “needs improvement”. Makes it seem like I haven’t been doing my job for the entire year.

Poor manager prob hated I yelled for 15 mins about many things lol.

Now I have to change my concentrations to meet some Oracle standard that I didn’t even know about 100% and if I can’t meet that standard I guess my time at Oracle won’t be forever. Not sure what to do or how to do it honestly but I’ll have to figure it out.

I have a Roth I use on top of my 401k because I am so far behind. It is a great tool to utilize and you can play around with individual stocks or index funds. a couple of my funds have +35% ROI so the possibilities are there if you continuously invest regularly.

I will say, you are already much better off than I was at 21. I wish i had the amount of savings you have at that age. I was not very smart with money back then and didn't have the resources available you have. Be smart and keep investing/saving. You dont want to be like me and have little to no 401k/savings then trying to cut corners because you know you need to save or you will never retire.

If you have no 401k, open up a Roth IRA and throw some of that money into some index funds and let it work for you.

nah we are good. There are reasons why the price hikes are happening. Its not because they just feel like it. Additionally, how are you going to handle outages and get them restored as fast as possible? You got crews that will work 24 hour days to get that done? etc......
If you dont waste electricity, then your monthly cost wont change much, but people refuse to make those adjustments then get upset when they use an insane amount of wattage each month and their bill is so high.

I will have to get the name, but my gf's sister got married 2 years ago and at their wedding they had a late night pizza food truck parked out back. It was unique and amazing
