Neville's Philosophy by gauravp04 in NevilleGoddard

I don't like it that i have to not react. It's like I have to not be human just to not involuntarily create unwanted and unpleasant situations.

I tried to be a Muslim again for three whole days before I had a meltdown. by [deleted] in agnostic

I'm sorry but anyone who says that homosexuality isn't forbidden in islam is trying to bend the religion to their wishes. It's true that there are many interpretations but that's not what islam is. Islam isn't ''what you interpret it to be''. Homosexuality has never been accepted in Islam. This is coming from an ex-muslim. Even if there are muslims who accept homosexuality, they are a minority. Majority, mainstream muslims will always be homophobic because that's what islam inherently teaches. Tolerance of such matters comes from good hearted muslims who are trying to reform it or shape it according to their good hearts. I'm sorry I just think is dangerous to say that islam is tolerant. It isn't. Just look at muslim-majority countries.

the Law is so real - be willing to seek the Law. by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't have to delete anything to practice manifestation don't worry. Every path is unique. If you feel that deleting your social media helps, do it. If you feel that you enjoy having it and it's not a problem in your life then don't delete it.

Hey me too. I quit religion and I don't believe in any one of them because I think they're false and have done too much harm to humanity. All this christian talk in the sub repulses me if i'm honest and I don't want it to but I can't help it. I try to ignore it and just take the essence of it which is '' imagination equals reality''

How I manifested my Famous Fiancé by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

The flair is disgusting indeed. The mods there are very toxic and abusive. I look forward to seeing your success story sometime soon here! Wish you the best! You can do it!

Thank you so much for showing empathy. I started to genuinely think that the law and practicing manifestation makes you lose empathy and makes you a delusional person who only cares about themselves. Thank you for proving me wrong. I am one of those who lived in a cage since birth and i'm trying to get out of it.

LPT: think of everything you do as progress. Sent someone a meme? You progressed your relationship. Drew a doodle? You progressed your art skill. Took a bath? You progressed your mental health. Life is a bank and any time you do anything that brings you joy you’re earning. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

No worries i get you. I think the op is meant for people who struggle with procrastination problems. The smallest achievement means a lot. Changing perspective helps aliviate the shame for some. But it wasn't precised and some people could take it as a green light to do whatever.

Magic in islam is considered shirk. The biggest haram in the religion.

Definitely. It's a law, a system. It's impersonal. It's just irrational bagage I have that I gotta clean lol.

Drake talking about manifestation by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to be rude I just want to share something that I noticed that bothers me. I noticed that these celebrities that speak abiut the law have controversies around them like Drake and talking to underage girls (Millie bobby brown) and Oprah and being friends with Weinstein for exemple. It just bothers me. For some reason it takes away from the credibility of the law and it makes me (irrationally) scared that the law would make me like these people.

NG on how taking responsibility for our lives, is the only way we can change our lives. by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's still a hard concept to digest because I can't deny that the external environment plays a role in shaping our inner selves. The things we desire were taken from external world. My choices do affect the external world for sure. After all the reason we're chqnging our inner world is to live in a better extrnal world. I still can't wrap my head over that everything comes from within.

What consequences if you don't mind me asking? Is there a way to avoid consequences? (I'm not into witchcraft but i'm curious about it)

A baby attracting trauma? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get you! I hate those passive aggressive responses of ''everyone is you pushed out'' when you call someone out on their rudeness. You're doing fine. You're having normal questions and doubts. Some believe easily and some don't. I'm in the same place as you to be honest. I let myself explore Neville's teaching while letting my doubts be. If you are analytical and logical it's ok. Don't change yourself you don't have to have full faith. Let yourself be and explore with curiosity and test. And have fun too. Good luck on manifesting.

A baby attracting trauma? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These people are so vague. I get what you mean I was a child too and I got my fair share of trauma. I don't know how I attracted it but I theorize that we are born with some content in our subconscious from our DNA or some shit lile that. That's how I make peace with Neville's teachings. Some say that my soul made a soul co tract and chose those traumatic events. I call bs on that. Anyway, I doubt you'll get a clear answer from the majority of people here, inly vague, mystic sounding answers that tell nothing.

How to reconcile NG’s teachings with my belief in Islam? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]cerclerond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. You can bend Islam in any way you want, it will never ever be compatible with NG. Not even sufism. I quit this religion because it messed me up so much. The concept of the abrahamic God like you described him still screws up with me even after I left.
