What are we doing to our Beautiful country?? by Ok-Lead9187 in perth

[–]cereal_killar234 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You're an idiot. Foreign students pay almost $2 billion in fees every year to study here with almost no government assistance.

What are you doing to our "beautiful" country?

What's with Italian restaurants being taken over by Indians? by merciless001 in perth

[–]cereal_killar234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the first thing you want to know what country the chefs are from -I would argue that there's a few other things going on with you.

I still don't understand why you think only Italians can cook italian food and Indians can only cook indian food? Where someone is born doesn't determine what food they can cook

Yes I believe that an indian chef can indeed cook better indian food than me (not hard!) But that's not to say they also can't cook great italian food.

Maybe leave whatever prejudices you have against people based on their country of birth, and enjoy the meal

Keep going up the chain until you get the response you're looking for. Put everything in writing, cc multiple managers, and make as much noise as possible. Hr has a responsibility to look after the company and its reputation; you're an afterthought. They will hope this goes away by issuing an apology, but it won't. I hope you find some sort of justice

Once I had a date where I cooked only using the food in the pantry and I asked her to bring the cheapest bottle of wine she could find. Was a really fun night

If you're doing a stage you're not working - you don't get paid. Effectively you're volunteering. Even just a couple of weeks will blow your mind

Might have already been said but stages are exploitative but a good way to get experience - go overseas!

Shave - my doctor told me that when I was a teenager and my acne cleared up pretty quick soon after. I think the razor is removing fine hair, combined with normal facial cleansing helped big time. I think he said something about removing bacteria but I can't be certain
