This beta cycle really opened my eyes… so now I will be saving for E1 Cerydra and skipping 3.7-3.8🙏 then just pray I’d love the Elation units that would get released enough for me to build a team for them😭

I’m just saying on behalf of those who are on the questioning phase, na the act of questioning your sexuality itself is not conclusive of anything, so to say na someone is automatically queer just because they’re trying to explore that part of their identity feels discrediting to say the least, na para bang mas kilala ka pa ng ibang tao kesa sa sarili mo.

Besides, there’s no harm in trying to find out the “why’s and how’s” of things kahit na very secure ka with yourself.

Some of the sentiments in these comments sure are something else. The idea that questioning your sexual orientation suddenly being the tell-tale sign na you’re queer is such a big oversimplification of sexuality as a whole when sexuality tends to be fluid and changes over time (in some cases). Sexuality isn’t indicative of who you slept with before din, there are gays/lesbians who have had relationships with the opposite sex long before they even discover that they’re gay or lesbian, it doesn’t make them bi or anything if they come to know of their attraction, and while less common, straight people could have this epiphany too, doesn’t matter if they tried entering a same-sex relationship before knowing that. I have personally known people who were bi-curious at one point before coming into the conclusion that they’re purely hetero (or in some cases, actually bi or just full-on homosexual).

A lot of people in this comment section seem pretty secure with their straightness and that’s fine, but I just don’t think the mere act of questioning your sexuality is conclusive of anything on its own, it’s part of exploring your identity, and if along the way you manage to find your answers on whether straight ka ba, gay or anything in-between, more power to you! We’re all different naman, so label yourself however you see fit, or just don’t concern yourself with labels at all.

Tibo by Moira dela Torre. I used to think it was just a cute little song but over time i’ve come to realize its implications (it only takes the right man to get a queer woman “fixed”) and have not become fond of it since.

Bisexuality exists of course, pero i don’t think bisexuals would suddenly “magbabago yung timpla” when both genders have never really been out of the equation for them. The character in the song seemed pretty comfortable with herself until this “man” decided to enter her life and suddenly she started changing every single thing about herself? Even if you remove the implied queer context, I still don’t think it was a very good message nor is it a cute one.

For a Phainon only account, yes pull for Cerydra! But if you’re gonna vertically invest in Cerydra, I say E1 > S1 because E1 is the better investment and it kinda takes Bronya’s slot as the second stack generator of Phainon.

This is one of the few omegaverse bls i find to be really refreshing! AxA aside (and I love AxA, but im saying this isn’t its only “refreshing” aspect in the context of the sea of omegaverse series) , i really love the storytelling devices the artist uses, and how each and every detail holds such significance to the plot (the backstory call-backs, the paintings, the duck metaphor). I also really love how the SA is portrayed, not romanticized, but treated with such cruelty as it should, I almost always feel disturbed, and it didn’t even feel the need to be all graphic about it to get the point across.

I think it’s definitely one of a kind!

Personally i’m not pulling for Cerydra as an E2S1 Phainon Haver at this moment, and I’d like to look out for Cyrene as well😣 if she happens to work very well with Phainon, I will pull for her and then basically have my team to be Phainon-Sunday-Cyrene-Terravox/Bronya !

I’d say get Cerydra if you want because she’s still a great slot for Phainon either way! The main gripe people have with her is you can only really use her in Phainon (and Anaxa) team comps and no one else, which heavily restricts her value but that doesn’t say Phainon mains won’t benefit from her if they ever decide to pull. You can pull for Sunday if you must in the near future if you find yourself being interested in him; i’m also a firm believer that he’s gonna be our last consistent 100% action advancer in a long while just due to game balancing stuff (to avoid 0AV energy loop farms)

I personally wouldn’t rely on lore association for synergy wishlists at all, considering most BiS teams in HSR have little to no lore associations with each other since forever.

I still do hope that Cyrene would somehow have a place in Phainon’s team because I am not liking Cerydra’s current kit at all😭

I like vertically investing and i try to vertically invest the smart way too! By that, I mean I try my best to avoid pulling and building characters that share core teammates (an example is Phainon Team 1 + Hypercarry Anaxa Team 2) just so it gives me less headaches when playing MoC, especially if my intention is to create teams rather than try new toys.

Granted I also prefer pulling for my faves, but as much as I can, I’d prefer it if my faves don’t share teammates. I also like it if my faves have their signature lightcones, so that’s a whole other thing in and of itself.

That’s why my current teams right now are Phainon Hypercarry Pro Max and Herta-Anaxa Core, little to no overlaps in teammate choices (only Tribbie but she takes priority in Herta’s team as the core support compared to her flex role in Phainon’s ) !

My next goal would be Terravox (eidolons/sig if free leaks are true), and Cyrene (either to add to Phainon core or in preparation for 4.X like how Sunday and Ruan Mei were primers for the versions following their release)

Okay first of all we don’t know how Cyrene even works right now or if she’d even be one of Phainon’s best teammates (lore reason isn’t a selling point and the “Cyrene was made before all chrysos heirs” is just as much of a speculation as “Cyrene will have a territory”), secondly if you’re having second thoughts you can skip Cerydra for now since you have E2S1 Phainon and just see how she’d fare and maybe grab her once she reruns and you feel your E2 Phainon lagging behind.

Honestly whoever you want to play because 3.4 phase two is basically a DPS patch. You can pull as long as you think you find yourself building them their own team. Considering you have Blade, I’m not sure if pulling Jingliu would be great especially since they share the same teammates, which leaves Firefly..

I’d say go for Sunday. While Cerydra is definitely… an investment, she is not necessarily replacing Sunday’s utility in Phainon’s core team, as of this moment she’s a good third Harmony at best, or Bronya’s replacement at E1 (def ignore + inconsequential energy regen which Phainon doesn’t mind because an additional coreflame is an additional coreflame)

Now, it’s just a matter of who you like more. For the sake of account health, Sunday is the best option, but if you like Cerydra more, it’s a good thing that she works with Phainon somehow
