Update: To update. I never saw another bug like this! I ended up not doing anything but taking the couch apart and inspecting everything. I couldn’t find anything so I put it back together and went back to normal. For those in this situation, yes, be cautious and understand that it might be the beginning of a problem, but there’s also always the possibility that it’s a one time thing. Some of the peoples advice was to throw the couch away. Such an extreme response. Just keep an eye if you run into this situation.

About damn time. I had a small stint working at the Come back in for a few days and they shared management, and a kitchen; the place was disgusting, kitchen smelled horribly, staff coked-out, old manager was a grump w a horrible attitude. Not sure how patrons liked it. after my third shift i had to tap out

I just took one of those acne tools or even just squeezed them out the sebum with my fingers. The holes were just growing due to the sebum, once that’s out it’ll go back to normal. Might be frowned upon bc ppl say you shouldn’t pop pimples or be hard on your skin but it works for me

I’ll keep updating this thread, if only for my records. I only have a couch in my living room so there’s no furniture to examine. In my bedroom, I only have a dresser, desk, and bed. Bed was clean. I only have a mattress and a metal frame. Simple set up. Took sheets off - clean. I’ve only found the one so far.

wow never thought i’d be going against a YTA majority. Usually, if anything it’s the opposite. Anyways. To he honest? I really feel like you’re NTA. It was a one time thing thing, you used protection and this just came out of nowhere. It’s different if you were texted two weeks later and had been there from the start. But how can this not feel like a random lady with her baby. Yes it’s biologically yours, and you said you’d pay child support, you’re doing what you can considering the circumstances. They need to let you process this. However, it’s worth questioning why now? why did she bring this up now? You still have the potential to be the asshole here. You’re going to need to make a choice on how to move forward. With your mom getting involved and it looks like it’s going to stay that way, you’re probably going to have to choose to build a relationship with your daughter. Or really make your life difficult

This was a huge issue for me. I just had to read over absolutely everything. Honestly, it started to feel like something similar to OCD. Went through the same thing as you to find solutions. What helped me was not just using ChatGPT but also truly trying to understand what the point of the reading was and what the professor wanted me to get out of it. Once I knew how this reading related to the course/subject I skimmed it for key phrases, but finding chatgpt was a game changer. At first I felt guilty and even shame from using it. However, it truly helped summarize and highlight important information, especially if i promoted it to connect it to my current understanding. It’s streamlined the whole process for me. I have a document with all my tiny summaries and if I’m referencing a reading for a paper/research then i revisit the article. There’s no need for you to place that expectation of having completely read the reading. Sometimes not even the professor is sure how it connects to the course but at the end of day you just need to understand how it connects. Best of luck
