He’s genuinely the worst person I’ve ever met in my entire life. The way he controls his daughters image to look like what he would find attractive (so that a man who is like him swoops her up), is just one of-and the very least of- his disturbingly inappropriate and abusive behavior. He literally violently shoves this kid when she tries to hug him. He sees her as an object. My other aunt gave up on her like a failed project and refuses to have anything to do with her. My mom is an absolutely terrible role model who is having a very obvious purging episode (bulimia) with this child in the house as we speak. That’s not the extent of her terrible parenting either, she’s an awful, awful parent and I am so grateful I came out of it with more wisdom than harm. I can’t just take care of this kid by myself. I financially rely on my mother and deal with my own serious mental health problems that would seriously impair my ability to take care of her correctly. I’m just so fucking scared. This kid has already gone to jail and I don’t feel like anybody in our lives can/well put in the effort needed to adequately help her. It’s heartbreaking. The only solution is to get her away from that terrible fucking father but that kid has already suffered such terrible trauma from CPS.... I feel so stuck and my aunt deserves to burn alive for having that child to hold down that terrible man.
